The apartment looks like in the pictures. The public transportation is close to the apartment few minutes by walking the tube and the bus station. The building is quiet, the area is clean. Close some supermarkets and restaurants. The owner communicated with us every day, she was very friendly. I can recommend this apartment. Note: the area in the first look seems unsafe, but it's not true.

The last evening we received an SMS from the booking, somebody reported to us, because we were so loud. I have a 3 years old son and he was laughing at 9 pm, but he was sleeping at 10 pm. We didn't do any party, just laughing, but not shouting. One of the neighbor didn't tolerate us.

The house is situated on City Rd close to the railway station and several bars and restaurants. It is only a 10 minute walk to the city centre (Eastgate). The back of the house opens directly on the canal side. The contrast between the busy City Rd at the front and the dreamy pastoral canal scene at the back is extraordinary and worth the stay just for that.

It was clean, modern/new, comfortable and seperate. Provided extra bedding and towels which was nice considering we were staying for over a week. Easy check in process. We booked last minute and it was quite discounted so for the price we paid it was very well worth it! We loved having our own place instead of booking a shared space.

We were not provided with toilet paper or toiletries and the kitchen lacked utensils. Wifi would become very weak at times.

Room was good, but venue as a whole disappointing in that previously I had had a really lovely meal there with family. Although advertised as providing food within the pub, I was told on arrival that they no longer did food--very disappointing! Location excellent and it could be a veritable goldmine if food made available.

See above--lack of food at the venue. Pub itself needs a refurb to bring it up to date--it appears to have turned into a sports pub only. Staff helpful and location excellent.

Nothing ! Although bring midge repellent, I made the fools mistake of forgetting we would be in water and near grass but that’s all part of the Scottish culture haha!
