I was amazed at how it looked from the outside and the inside was even better. The decor was stylish and it was very clean. The staff were friendly and engaging with a smile. The rooms were beautiful and we slept like babies, we also had a meal which was nice. I t was a bit far out and the shuttle bus was £5 each which if going back and forth was expensive for 2 people.

We enjoyed our three night stay at this cottage. There was everything we needed to come home to after a day exploring the highlights. The beds were very comfortable and it was warm and cosy. Also the easy check in process and instructions were helpful when we arrived in late at night.

Excellent food. We had an evening meal and breakfast and both were very good. The staff are a great strength of the hotel. All were efficient and friendly. Special thanks to Paddy in the Snug. Good sleep quality- the bed was comfortable and the room was quiet at night.

Location was OK. It wasn't B&B but self catering with a good functional kitchen, with tea. Coffee, sugar and all.the standards provided for including cereal.

The stairs into the flat were steep, but that's the nature of the building. It was OK for me, just but I think other people may struggle.

Parking was expensive in the hotel car park, there is free parking a short walk from the hotel and a multi storey nearby but the whole of Paignton sea front area is full of double yellows and 1 hour street parking. Not the hotels fault and typical of busy seaside towns
