A lot of effort has gone into it and I really appreciated the cleanliness and the facilities: fully stocked kitchen, washer, awesome lighting options, 2 bathrooms, nearby parking and more! The location is within 5-10 mins of 2 large supermarkets, 5 minutes from a lovely green space, and the same for the historic centre. Tip: If you are struggling to get hot water from the bathroom tap adjoining the bedroom, simply turn the shower on for a few seconds and you will get hot water from the tap. We really enjoyed our stay. Amelie is a fantastic host. I don't think we have stayed anywhere better. Thank you so much.”

  Cozy, historical pub hotel in the village of Chagford opposite the town church. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Lots of space in the bar with a fireplace and old features. Open and modern dining area for breakfast in the morning (included) and lunch/dinner options (not included). Breakfast buffet with cereals, juices, coffee and a delicious hot breakfast cooked to order included. My eggs were poached to perfection! The rooms were cute, older style furniture in keeping with the theme and with lots of storage space. Very comfortable bed, fresh clean sheets. No noise from the downstairs bar at all. Coffee and tea facilities. Hairdryer in room. Big bathroom with shower unit. Lovely big fluffy towels, heated towel rail.

  Lovely hotel in Bath, a short walk from the shops and places of interest. Good size, comfortable room. Lovely beds and crisp, clean sheets. Mini bar option but with free bottled water and fresh milk for tea and coffee. Excellent en-suite bathroom with big fluffy towels and powerful shower. Beautiful smelling free shampoo, bodywash and soaps. Continental breakfast included with ingredients from local producers and hung on the outside of the door in the morning, great idea! Cooked breakfast option for an extra fee. Hairdryer, coffee machine and kettle provided. Very clean and well maintained. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Small bookable parking bay.

  Our room was close to the road and with the window ajar it let in the traffic noise but they had installed extra glazing to dull the sound and provided earplugs.

  Extremely comfortable bed, had the best nights sleep for a long time. Huge spacious bedroom with super large four poster. Cosy pub with roaring fire. Breakfast was superb, quality ingredients and piping hot. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Conveniently placed midway between Manchester and Sheffield.

  Absolutely nothing. Only small negative to note was the single use plastic miniature bottles of shower gel, shampoo etc. Hate those things, would prefer to see a pump style dispenser on the wall.
