Great location. Receptionist was pleasant although didn't show me to my room or tell me where it was. She did offer to help with my bag when she saw me struggling. I left early cause I just couldn't stay another night there, I handed back the keys, no one there , I returned later that more to make sure and to tell them I wasn't going to be staying, rang the bell, nobody there. Waited for ages still nobody came.

Dirty and uncomfortable! I had to wash the spoon and cup before I used it. Bed was the most uncomfortable thing I've ever slept on ( or not slept ), a dog was barking for hours through the night. It was very noisy when people were walking past your room. The loung area was a total eyesore. I recieved a bite on the side of my face from something. I ended up vacating the room and booking in somewhere else so I could sleep. 😔 This place is an absolute health risk I'm sorry to say.

The owners were brilliant, the breakfast was the best we have had on our trip, beautiful home made food including biscuits in our room. It was a really special place to stay, so peaceful and quiet and comfortable.

The flat is quite rundown. Walls were scuffed and stained. The bedroom is minuscule in size, very little cross ventilation. The glass partition in the bathroom had a gap that allowed water to flow out - clearly an old problem because there was mould in the corners and someone had tried to fix it unsuccessfully with some sealant which did not work. After the shower, the bathroom floor would be flooded with water in the corner. We used the bathmat to mop it up but due to no ventilation, bathroom would not dry (Even though we opened a window. Secondly, there was no prior intimation that a security deposit was required. I got a message just a couple of days prior to our arrival, which was very inconvenient and disturbing, because we were told if we didn't pay it would cause problems with check in. We paid the refundable security deposit of 250 pounds, which was billed to my credit card, and is still reflecting in the statement, although the property assured us that it would be reversed. I am still not sure if I will have to chase the property owners for the refund, because the amount has not been reversed.

When the air con unit was turned on it resulted in water running down the wall, close to electrical equipment (TV and kettle). Wallpaper was hanging off in the bathroom. There was no wardrobe, just hangers on hooks. Cracked tile in shower. Be mindful, when booking, that the rooms are above a pub and near a busy road junction.

Had no breakfast dur to the fact none was made . The continental breakfast was inedible. The bread was rock hard cheese was mouldy so we couldn't have anything g and had to go to a cafe
