Breakfast is to order from a selection of hot options plus full buffet. Dined at restaurant several times, excellent food. We had drinks at rooftop every evening to wind down, great ambience with fire pits, blankets and fairy lights. Bikes to hire are a fabulous way to see Kyoto also. Laundry easy to use, gym also. About a 25-30 min walk to Kyoto station or between $10-15 taxi ride. Highly recommended!”

  Accommodation was excellent- warm, comfortable, well appointed rooms and spotlessly clean. Thoughtful extras for people with dogs - doggy paddock, bed, bowls and dog treats were appreciated. Lovely countryside location, ample car parking and large gardens, plus the food was great!

  The only downside was the road noise. You didn’t hear it at all in the pub or the rooms, which was great, but it was quite loud when you were outside.
