When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

The excellent information and friendliness of Becky The beautiful communal living area which we wish we had made more use of The proximity to all the amenities whilst still being quiet. Loved Bistro Pierre. The little touches such as fresh milk in the fridge on arrival The self check in! So flexible and easy.

Unfortunately it could have been a lot cleaner. There was a lot of dust throughout (tops of the cooker, panelling, lights etc) and in the girls bedroom there was a condom shoved down the side which in fairness we only found when we pulled the bed out to look for lost socks but still it shouldn’t have been there.

The property is very well located. There is a lovely park just opposite the property and the property is a very short walk to good cafes, pubs and restaurants. Our room was clean, and well equipped with ample tea, coffee and milk, as well as a hairdryer, iron and ironing board.

The property is in need of some updating; the bathroom door was very stiff - an older person might easily find themselves unable to open the door! We also hadn't appreciated that the property doesn't have an on-site reception (instead, you are sent a code for collecting your room key from a machine). The property is not very baby friendly - the hotel does not have a lift, and our room was located on the first floor. This was quite difficult for us as we had to carry our pram up and down stairs numerous times a day. Unfortunately, the fire alarm went off at 1.20am one night during our stay. We waited outside for 40 minutes, only to be told (by firefighters) that it was a false alarm. No representative of the hotel has been in touch with us since, either to offer an apology or a partial refund. This is extremely poor.

The room.is located at a farm in a beautiful and peaceful environment..it s a good location to reach Snowdonia but also the north coast and Anglesey. As it is a farm you will make many new friends sheep, dogs, hens...

Could hear the room above walking around at night (but it wasn’t for very long & it can’t be helped)

Just very comfortable and clean etc. It is what I would have expected. Staff were friendly and helpful.

There was no breakfast offer. I realise that as the hotel is next to the 'Spoons there's probably not much point in trying to compete but something 'non-Spoons' would have been nice.

Spacious room with good shower and an excellent breakfast.

The location was close to the job I was doing.
Negative section of review
The property wasn’t clean, the headboard was stained as was the walls, for the price of the room for a night it was completely underwhelming and didn’t feel comfortable to stay at. They hadn’t mentioned that there was a cat there either, my partner has allergies so couldn’t stay with me in the end and the house generally smelled bad due to the cat.

Most things were fine.

Stable 1's outside could do with a 'lick of paint' to be honest and that was also said by someone else in a nearby stable. A quick inexpensive 'make over- first impressiona are important. Maybe one or two extra utensils - there was only one spoon for example. A few inexpensive extras, toiletries do not need to be Jean Paul Gaultier or top of the range brands, but it makes it look like you have 'thought about and 'care' about your clients. Travelling makes time less rreadily available, so never got to use pub 'next door' - All in all, fine.
