The room was very clean, spacious and the bed very comfortable. The staff were most helpful and nothing was a problem for them. There is everything at The Kings Head should you need it; food in the evening and breakfast from 6:30am. It's also in a great area and I will definitely book again.

It's a shame there is no car park but not a problem if you know the area and where the town car parks are located.

Beautifully decorated and well maintained, it provided almost everything you could need. The bed was super comfortable. The property is situated within a short walk of the town centre. It was very handy to have onsite free parking.

The property is on quite a busy main road, but the bedroom is towards the back. In an ideal world, we would have liked coat hooks, but that is literally the only thing missing!

We had a comfortable spacious room in a very convenient location, easy to find. Parking on site was great. Breakfast made it easy to start the day early.

The complete absence of any personal contact. Yes, it is described as "self-catering", but we never saw a staff person in three days. It felt unwelcoming. We have stayed in many B&B's in many countries, and in vacation rentals from owners. There was always someone to greet us at least. There wasn't even a guest book to sign, I don't think. The clincher was when I left a sign to clean the room on the second night, and we returned at the end of the day to find it wasn't done. My cell phone was dead so I couldn't call. I rang the bell on the downstairs privacy door two times, no response. I sent an email, still no response 3 days later. We almost ran out of shampoo and the sink drain was not flowing well from the beginning. Thankfully there were no serious issues. Poor support.

The staff were really helpful and altered my room from fourth floor to ground as there was no lift.

It was good value and all went well but was disappointed that if I left my cases there for more than 3 hours whilst I waited for my transport home I was going to charged £5.00 a case to sit on the floor next to reception.
