The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

the location was very convenient for getting out of Fort William and up into the mountains, also the Hogwart express passes very close by twice a day and can be photographed from the garden. The property was perfectly good for what we wanted, the shower was very good,

First impressions count, and what we saw was a property with a tired front façade, tatty paint, and broken down fences, in addition a workmans portaloo was abandoned in the grass by the bin area, the back gravel garden was in need of some attention, as there were a lot of weeds, and a pile of dirt and stone in the corner, work in progress,, ,all the nice white fences seen in the photos were broken down and stacked against the side wall of the property, so the rear garden was open to anyone walking by, In our opinion, the owners decision to not iron the bed sheets in order to help the environment, added to disappointment on arrival

Breakfast was excellent. My partner had the full breakfast and I had pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. Everything was superb and service was friendly.

Could find no fault. Except that I didn’t realise that unless we arrived by 5pm, we would have to check ourselves in. By arrangement a key would be left in a locked box. We rang ahead and arrived at 5 to 5, although Josh assured us he would hang on a few minutes if we were on our way.

Good location close to M1 and less than 10 minutes in the car from the railway station. Plenty of free parking. Great breakfast.

No issues apart from a sticky window that was hard to close.

Staff fabulous and roof top bar fabulous. Rooms fair but nice vibe. Few things not working but over all comfortable.

Pricing was odd. VAT included after price so cheap price was not actually THAT cheap and breakfast that was "included" actually was taken out of £50 security you had to place at time of checking. I contacted the hotel directly about this asking for an explanation but they never answered. As much as I enjoyed my stay I would not stay again nor recommend it despite having a lovely stay and staff were fabulous.

Nice peaceful and relaxing area. The place was clean and tidy and has everything you need for your getaway.

Good location, easy to park across the road.

Staff appeared indifferent. Breakfast very ordinary for a Scottish hotel. They have little competition in the area so may feel that all is ok.
