Everything had been thought of and was provided for your comfort. Although this was an error on my part not realising there was no TV and all food was provided for continental breakfast in the room. However, this was a welcome change. Allowing time for each other listening to audible rather than watching TV and spending more time in each other's company, recommend you try it you won't be disappointed.

There was only one pilliow per person in both the rooms we booked. There were no bowls for breakfast or teaspoons to make tea/coffee. It would have been useful to have a toaster in the room, seen as this is now classed as an 'apartment'. The windowsils and bed frames were dusty. One of the decorative tops was missing from the four poster bed. The water pressure was terrible. If you flush the toilet, you have to wait a while before using the taps at the sink to wash your hands or to use the shower. There was mould on the tiles in the shower room. The shower tap was very stiff to move and the shower head kept falling down. It was very difficult to control the water temperature e.g. too hot or too cold. The blinds in the bedroom were broken, and one is missing in the middle of the window. The curtains were hanging off the edge of the rail. The TV in the lounge room did not work. After watching the show on 'four in a bed', we were very disappointed, as clearly none of the suggestions had been taken on board or corrected. It was disappointing that no one was there on arrival to ask questions and clarify things. We did call the manager who visited us to provide more pillows but did not have enough for all of us! She agreed to come back the following day with another pillow, but did not.. Had to ask for more coffee and tea as there were limited stock in the rooms. Only limited toilet tissue provided and no one to ask for more (as the manager explained she lived 1 hour drive away) and we didn't want to have to call again! No washing up liquid or sponge provided for one of the rooms. A real miss match of clothes hangers and not enough for our clothes for a few days stay. There was also some kind of incident and 2 police cars arrived. No explanation or reassurance given. The front door was left unlocked and wide open, which made us all feel very unsafe. I called the manager and left a message asking for a call back, but we did not hear anything...
