It’s central to the city, the place had hot water, and the free breakfast and coffee was good. Lots of showers and bathrooms and never had to wait or cue up which was good.

The room I stayed in was very run down and basic. The locker didn’t work properly and wasn’t able to lock it with a padlock. No plug near my bed. Very squeaky bed with the loudest snorers in my room (I know this isn’t the hostels fault but wasn’t able to get a good night sleep). Location was very noisy where you can hear other people in the hallways and other rooms as well as people on the street. Seemed to be in a really run down area although close to the city.. but no real nice surroundings or atmosphere close by. Small common area which was always fully occupied which meant that there was anywhere to really hang out. I mean it’s okay for what you pay but wouldn’t recommend or want to stay any longer than I did.

The room, while comfortable, could have been set out slightly better. It was difficult to see and select tea & coffee in the dark cupboard, behind the ironing board resting against it. There is more than enough room on the bedside desk for the box of tea/coffee to be put with the kettle. The kettle could be a little smaller too, as you had to fight to fit it under the tap in the bathroom to fill it. I was a little disappointed that there was no where to hang a dress /shirt or even a coat. Maybe a rail under the enormous TV or, the fridge ect moved to under TV and a rail put in the cupboard?

Stayed in deluxe King room which was excellent.Lovely bathroom. Accommodation was pristine throughout, very clean.

Nothing really other than would prefer to have breakfast within the accommodation rather than next door in cafe. However the cafe was good and did serve a good choice of breakfast.

There are none of the basic amenities offered in other hotels such as a kettle. The £15 change for holding a bag is extortionate considering most other hotels do it for free. The lack of window should be advertised more clearly for people who suffer from claustrophobia. It's slightly better than a capsule hotel but not worth the price.
