  Lovely friendly hosts. Great location. Good value and great breakfast. Room small but had everything we needed and nice decor, everything was very clean and well maintained. It is clear the owners are passionate about what they do and nothing is too much trouble. We were made to feel very welcome which was really appreciated. A hidden gem in a very competitive area!

  Everything! Exceptional hotel from cleaners through to reception. Every effort is made to give you a first class experience. The health club was wonderful and food very good. Also very good restaurants close by. The entertainment was also great we saw three singers thur-sat who were extremely good. Didn’t want to leave! We will be back next year.

  Friendly and helpful staff, very clean, spacious and nicely decorated rooms, interesting location. Complimentary breakfast items and discount in the attached to the hotel restaurant was a nice gesture.

  Noise from a construction work that was taking place right outside my windows. It would have been nice to be informed about it when booking the room. I was woken up at 8am by the sound of hammers. We booked two rooms: the upstairs one was great, but the downstairs one was very cold and had no view. My friend was offered a heater upon request. I would recommend booking rooms upstairs.

  Staff were very helpful and kind. The bed was good, and there was plenty of storage in the in-built cupboards. Decor was neutral and modern. Breakfast was great! For the price, it was good value.

  There is no lift and the stairs are many if your room is on the top floor. Some minor things like the bathroom blind was broken, but no problem as the glass is frosted.

  Good location on waterfront and near train station. Room was clean and the bed comfortable. Bathroom pristine and good shower. Breakfast was tasty and friendly service.

  Noisy people outside and music until very late although I had the window closed. It was Saturday and I think there was a function. Also thudding and creaking as people walked about on floor above and past my door. Didn't like the help yourself tea and coffee at breakfast. Water in flasks not hot enough to make a decent pot of tea. The price I paid was excessive considering it was not a restful night. Would stay again but not on a weekend and not in a room looking out on play area and outdoor seating.
