The hotel proprietor, Mara, is very attentive and kind to her guest. I was able to check in early! My room was located towards the back so it was quiet. My bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom clean. You get an assortment of tea bags, instant coffee, chocolate drink mix & cookies on the desk with an electric kettle. If you want a slick modern room with a credit card key, this hotel is not for you! I liked the diverse neighborhood with a Tesco a block away. I enjoyed my three night stay!

Bed only, no breakfast. Host Darren and his team were friendly and welcoming. It’s a great buzzy pub with a good vibe and well-kept beer…with the bonus of being in a great location with good walks nearby.

It was half term so it was very busy so didn't bother booking the pool Busy periods bring drunks and rather than it feeling like a family holiday it was like being out on the town, bags needed to be looked in but on a positive I would rather that than something terrible happening. Beds was not made on arrival and we had a missing bed set which wasnt a problem but when we had the first lot it had dog hair all over it so we needed to go back to change it Beds were like camping fold out beds and uncomfortable
