Excellent accommodation if you are just looking for an overnight / visiting area for walks etc - well specced out clean rooms with mini fridge for water, juice and milk - Coffee Tea etc - nice and quiet with great garden to the front - 3 pubs in the village - and a shop just around the corner so never far from a meal or a snack!

Clean, spacious & good location. Had lovely little seating area. Everything needed if wanting to cook. Close to takeaways. Parking available. Information folder very informative & host responsive to questions prior to visit.

Large cottage with plenty of space. Good location in a nice village with a great pub, worth it for the pub! Although it is clear there is no allocated parking we were always able to park right outside the front door.

This a decent place to stay but it is anything but a "Finest Retreat", a £10 plastic leaking kettle for example and similar cheap toaster. Mould in the bathroom too. The outside courtyard is small which is fine but it really needs some TLC. As i say it's fine and the pictures largely show what you're getting but don't expect anything to be high end.

The room we booked did not match the booking.com description. The room we were given had a 'queen' bed, but no single bed in it. By calling it a King room, we had expected a King size bed and a single one. They had no room with 2 beds in, which they were willing to give us. Consequently our sleep was poor despite being tired after a long drive. The buffet breakfast was good, but the cooked part of it was disappointing as the poached eggs were hard boiled.

Staff were a little bit not clued in and when your taking your breakfast they took the plate away before you finished my wife had to tell the person but he just went on and didn't bother to apologize
