The hotel is in a very accessible location (2 min walk from Lambeth North tube station), with easy access to local stores, cafes and obviously, within easy walking distance from central tourist attractions. The room wasn’t spectacular, but it did the job for what we needed - considering we travelled as a family, with 2 children and ours was a one night stay only. Breakfast was pretty much standard, everything that one would need for a morning meal (very minimal continental options, plus full English breakfast available) - kids were extremely happy with the choice of pastries and unlimited access to Nutella 😅 All in all, perfect for a central London weekend break. Bonus points for the hotel granting a luggage drop off facility pre check in and/ or post check out, made our lives so much easier being able to enjoy our walks without dragging backpacks around ☺️👍

Be mindful the hotel is very close to Waterloo train station - therefore at night there will be train noises until late hours. Not much of an issue if you keep the window closed, unfortunately we were there on a particularly hot weekend and needed the window open, especially since the AC in the room didn’t actually seem to do much, even if it was on 18 degrees. Bathroom sink seemed to be clogged, water took forever to drain so we basically had to wait in line to be able to wash our hands… We were in the junior family suite or family room or whatever it’s called as I can’t quite remember, which was all fine - however we were only supplied with 1 pillow per person. We asked reception for extra pillows, and we were provided with 2 extra - which apparently the maximum that can be provided, even if there was obviously 4 of us in the room. Bizarre… Oh! The lifts - that’s a whole saga to itself. Arm yourself with patience or face the reality that you may need to take the stairs. There is no logic into how the lifts work (or don’t work?!), you go in and select your floor but end being taken on a 10-15 mins ride of your life through various floors before you manage reaching your own (if ever.. not sure, we gave up and took the stairs to the 5th floor). One other aspect to mention - hotel seems to lack security. There was a (minor, but could have escalated) incident at breakfast with a person who walked themselves from outside the hotel straight to the breakfast area and it took quite a number of people from the hotel staff to be able to reason with the “hotel crasher” before being able to escort the person off the hotel premises.

Very clean and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable(my son said his single bed was the most comfy he had ever slept on) Large room with good tea and coffee facilities. Large showers room. As we were on motorbikes it was a bit out of the way, nothing within walking distance, but if in a car that wouldn't be a problem. We had the additional breakfast which was good value.

The price was good, our room was very clean and comfortable with the benefit of a good restaurant and pub, perfect to relax at the end of the day. The food was well prepared and staff very attentive and busy. Very good value.

Very overpriced for what it was. Mid September - 300pounds for 2 nights. Was in room 3, downstairs- where the double mattress is in a loft above the main room, accessible by ladder- which was fine- as it was as the photo showed. BUT it was basic, wth no mattress protector & no sheet. Only the light- weight doona. Downstairs room small & basic wth a desk, chair, fridge & heater. Shower was SO cramped. Any human larger than small or medium sized would have difficulty maneuvering in there. Also it would be very difficult for anyone wth mobility challenges. Just basic, not value for money.
