Second time staying here, fantastic location and central to everything in London- couple of tube stops in 5 min walking distance nearby, next to Covent Garden and walking distance to bustling Leicester Square and theatre district - loads of great restaurants around. Felt very safe walking solo as it’s a busy area and right next door to police station. Hotel itself is great - very comfortable and food is great. Staff are excellent.

Size of the room is good for a solo traveller as it has all you need and I was comfortable in. A couple of people in the room may find it a bit of a squeeze.

The host is arrogant and very rude, un professional, and blind to the state of the place he's running the wrong buisness there is a way to treat paying customers unfortunately customer service is lacking here along with many other factors Eggs were 2 months out of date Room was un clean I decided to stay another night because I have a health condition that causes difficulties in the morning so, arranged and payed cash through host, later arranged another night because I was unwell , telephoned host he confirmed that I could stay the. Next morning after being ill all night, I was rudley awoken, saying I must leave immediately someone else who had booked. I was feeling so ill and was forced to leave in a hurry, leaving dirty dishes in sink as I had no time to wash them. I later had a load of abuse of the host because i never cleaned the room before I left! Honestly, you couldn't make it up The place needs a good clean and professional to do DIY I think they are doing diy themselves that's causing health and safety issues The shower room floods there is no shower curtain and floor is not layed correctly so water runs on floor. Water is extremely hot. No hot water warning sign The mugs were filthy There was mouldy pasta on the skirting board evidently been there a while where it had dried out.

The shower area was very pokey and the bed was not that comfortable. There were a few essential items missing from the communal kitchen (cutting board).
