  Free parking was a life saver, so close to the town centre and the beach we walked everywhere. The self check in was fantastic and so easy! The communication with Deb and Ken was great, even got a text the day of check in with loads of handy info and they gave me their direct contact details if I ever needed them. This place exceeded all expectations from when we first opened the main door, spa music greeted us which was a great touch! The kitchen had everything we could need, plenty of seating area, the whole place was sparkling clean and tidy and so fresh! The bedroom was lovely, bed was so comfy! Fresh, clean and even provided bottled water. With pin operated main door, CCTV throughout and the general feeling.. this place was so safe I am booking back for my solo trips to visit family!

  We made a last minute booking as we had worse experience with another property, though there was a short notice of time., the host was able to get the property cleaned up for our arrival and made our stay a wonderful experience, there was a folder available in the house on how to operate and use the stove/heater, what are the nearby travel options. the property is right next to a bus stop with a shopping mall around the corner. thanks jubed for being a great host.

  The food was amazing, generous portions too. The staff were very helpful - nothing too much trouble and accommodating to the fact I had a dog. Towels changed every day.

  The room was very cold for some reason even with the windows closed. I couldn’t get the windows to close initially so had to get staff to do it. There were numerous cobwebs (in the windows and in corners of the walls) despite signs saying they pride themselves in cleanliness. Pillows not comfortable. Also, disappointingly there were also remnants of last nights food on the floor at breakfast.

  The sleeping arrangements are a bit tricky as the ceiling is very low and difficult to manoeuvre around bed. It was manageable but not ideal if you have a back problem as I do. It is mentioned when booked.

  Very limited toiletries, hair/body wash and small hand soap. The toilet system was very noisy and not suitable for flushing after 11pm. The breakfast was poor. Good quality but very small servings, no toast and jams or cereals if you decided on a hot breakfast. The poached eggs on toast consisted of one small slice of sour dough and 2 x eggs.
