The location is quite good, as it is fairly close to Victoria Train Station. (I took bus 59 outside the Printworks: 10-15 minute ride). Reception is open 24 hours and on arrival, the staff were polite and helpful and my luggage was carried to my room for me after check in. The hotel uses a card system to access the front door and also the hotel room. The single room I stayed in had an ensuite and it was clean and cosy. There was a kettle as well as a TV and the bed was firm and comfortable. For heating purposes, there was an adjustable radiator in the room and a heated towel rail in the bathroom. Thank you for a lovely stay.

There was a picture of a famous band and a dream catcher on the wall in my room, which didn't bother me really but it might be a good idea to keep the hotel walls neutral in case they offend others. The bathroom and shower area lacked shelves and there was no plug for a hairdryer/straighteners etc. The shower didn't work at all on arrival, but was fixed quickly after speaking to reception. Unfortunately it had two settings, too cold or scalding hot and so I had to keep adjusting the settings every five seconds. Tip: There were no teaspoons in my room, just a couple of wooden stirrers and so pack one or two if you are planning on staying here.

Excellent location for the city centre and Chinatown. Staff were very friendly and polite. The bed was super comfy. Asked for a room looking onto St James Park football club and city, great view. Breakfast buffet was lovely in the very nice restaurant with plenty of choice of food and drinks.

The only downside to the whole experience was they have no parking and they recommend the multistorey car park a few minutes walk away in Chinatown on Stowell street. Having said that I booked and paid for the car park in advance and there was no hassle. You are guaranteed a spot and the barrier automatically recognises your no. plate and the barriers raise automatically. Couldn't figure out how to add a few extra hours though the next morning but that was probably just me.

Lovely apartment, well appointed, easy parking great location.

Scaffolding made the living room gloomy and the garden unattractive. Apparently this is temporary. Garden more grey and subterranean than expected.

Single bed uncomfortable duvet kept falling off no en-suite. Reflected in the price. Full breakfast was heavily seasoned with pepper And the bad language coming from the kitchen was off, Idid not want to hear about the f….n cat that s..t F….n everywhere by some male. When I checked in I was told the restaurant was closing early because of something out the back ?after travelling all day I was put out I think paying guests could have got some food.
