Quiet neighbourhood, close to city centre, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine/dryer. Ample supplies provided including coffee pods, sugar, tea, dishwasher tabs, detergent, washing machine sachets. Comfy bed, plenty of coat hangers. Good shower, plenty of hot water and good pressure. Modern appliances except for the coffee pod machine which was old and required specific sized pods which were hard to find. The owners bought some for us (and we later reimbursed them) which was much appreciated. No dedicated parking but with the permit arranged by the owners we never had a problem finding a park. The road is quite busy during the day but quiet at night. Terrace to sit outside.

We like to have fresh air in places we stay but the only way to do this was to open the front door. The windows are on the street and not sufficiently secure to keep open. While the terrace is pleasant and reasonably private there’s no protection from rain or sun. The cold water side of the kitchen tap was not working properly. Was hard to turn on and to get any real flow of water. Had to use two hand to regulate the flow of the tap. Bathroom sink is very tiny. Needs another hook in the bathroom so two towels can be hung up. Needs more shelves to put things in the bathroom. No fish/egg slice. Quite a common thing in most apartments we’ve stayed at and I’m not sure why they are in most cases not supplied. Owners live next door and apartment set up (locked connecting door with not very good sound proofing) so that we could hear them….which meant they could hear us. As a rule we do not like to stay at places where owners are as we like our total privacy. This situation wasn’t too bad though.

Location was excellent, property clean and beds very comfortable. Keys were left in the door after we informed our ETA.

Both double beds were in one room. The guest bed we used for the 4th adult was wonky and old.Small details like batteries for the remote or wall clock weren't working. Some bulbs in the living room main light weren't working. Also the kitchen essentials like plates and cups were sparsely furnished. We texted the contact number about these minor details but had no response. But inthe end, we didn't mind that much as we were staying only for 2 nights. If we stayed longer, I would have liked these issues to be sorted. We loved the loved the location and peaceful atmosphere. Apartment very clean.

The hotel is very dated and could do with a huge makeover everywhere.Not many staff so service a little slow, however the staff on duty did their best. This hotel could be a real gem if it was upgraded.

The location was good, near town, and with easy access to bus links.

Only one thing, there was no hand rail at the entry to the shower, as the step up/down was rather high even though there was one fitted near there showerhead. Perhaps something to think about for the future safety issues at little extra cost.

no WiFi connection I raised repeated tickets to property management as well as on booking.com as well but no resolution was provided during my 5 days stay. build quality is shady as entire upper deck vibrates if any bus or heavy vehicle passes from front of the house. backyard was a mess & completely unkept.
