Though the checkin is self-completed there were some staff in the shop area (during working hours) to assist with anything if needed. Otherwise the communication before checkin with door codes, etc. was very easy and convenient. The aparto itself was comfortable, clean and quiet. We would recommend this to anyone wanting a nice aparto style accommodation in Porto with nice restaurants close by (for dine-in or takeaway).”

  The lodge was spotless and very homely, it had everything we needed as a family for our stay. Sonia and David were so helpful and friendly, they left dvd's, games and a information booklet of places to visit. David topped the log burner up for us if we were out for the day so the hot tub was ready when we got back, which was very kind and thoughtful of him. The kitchen was very well equipped and well thought out, very easy to cook a meal for a family of 4. There were extra blankets in the lounge, lots of towels left for us and a lovely welcome basket when we got there. We are family of 4 with teenage sons and we all enjoyed the lodge, it was lovely to not have phones and playstions on and just spend some family time together. Thank you Sonia and David for a lovely stay we will be back.

  The Property has been recently renovated and it looks really good. The hosts are fantastic (Trust us... they really are fantastic!) and always on site if needed (but don't worry about privacy! the property is very well laid out). We really enjoyed staying with them and we will definitely go back! Rooms are a decent size and comfortable, and also very clean! Breakfast is amazing. You can order it the night before and they will cook it for you in the morning: Continental, full English, Vegetarian... a lot of options! Parking is also not an issue: a few parking spaces at the property (enough for the number of rooms!) and free on street parking available overnight.

  The hotel is only ten minutes walk to the main dock with plenty of bars and restaurants.plenty of free parking which is great. But what makes this hotel one of our favourites is the amazing staff everyone from the bars staff to the cleaning staff and check in were very friendly. The rooms are very comfortable and big. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we have had in a hotel, we also loved have drinks in the bar and dinner was excellent and the prices were very reasonable.myself and wife are looking forward to return here again in the near future.

  Nice view especially from balcony, room clean, man nice helped with bag on day we came. Fair was on the green Infront.

  Old furniture, old faded towels, noise from the road, sausage in breakfast wasn't nice, hash browns could have been more crispy, old and unmatched bed linen. Place for kettle a bit small and kettle leaked on floor. Room was a bit small, but balcony made up for it.
