Good location, good staff, very clean and the bar/restaurant is very good. You get a discount for eating as a hotel guest of 15%. The dishes severed are excellent.

Bed too small. No sink plug or tea towels! Strange when there is a cocktail maker and all the equipment on the table! 😳TV terrestrial channels unobtainable (aerial?). No bath mat. Bath very slippery when showering. Several ceiling lights in the kitchen area not working.

We were given a room directly looking out onto the station roof and pigeons. A shame when the hotel was not full and the hotel knew we chose to stay there as it was mt husbands 50th birthday. Nothing nice out of the window at all, woke up very early by the tannoy in the station and trains in and out. Pillows in the bed were not good. Also found out on check-in that they charge £18 to have tour car in the car park.

At a busy function only 1 member of staff behind bar and she had to keep running back to the main bar for drinks. In my room in the bathroom there was black mould all over the ceiling!
