We needed somewhere near to Media City in Manchester and this fitted the bill. The The room was large with ensuite shower. I was able to add another bed to the booking which was a sofa bed. The local area had loads of places to get a bite to eat but I would say they were fast food or takeaway establishments. The bar served a variety of beers etc and was well attended. The 2 young ladies on duty did everything possible to get our room ready as the spare bed had not been set up when we arrived. They were also very welcoming.

Additional bed was a sofa bed and my colleague advised it was very hard and could have done with a mattress. On arrival of our stay there was a celebration party with music which didn't finish until 12am and seemed to be directly below our room. It might be worth asking the question if there is one happening on your stay. Bar is frequented by younger clientele and could be intimidating if you're not used to that but there were absolutely no issues on that score. The room was probably not worth the cost and the sofabed should not have an additional charge although we were not charged for it due to us having to wait for it to be set up.

The guest house was extremely clean and welcoming Tony and Sally were very friendly and very accommodating with my children. Breakfast is included which was lovely and you were asked what you would like to have and was cooked freshly in the morning with tea or coffee and a glass of juice. The location was absolutely perfect. We had a very pleasant stay and would highly recommended

It's not the easiest place to find but once you do, it's worth it! An idyllic, peaceful setting with lovely rooms and garden. The breakfast was yum and generous with great service. We were allowed to check in early (before it could even be fully cleaned!) and then arrive back late after a wedding.

The sausages were the only thing that let the breakfast down, we were hoping for some farm quality! We were also charged £5 more than the booking confirmed (since checking but unaware at the time).

Overwhelming breakfast, really well cooked. Plenty of it. We cannot fault it and Amanda looked amazing in her Chefs uniform complete with hair net.

With the window open it could be a little noisy at night.

Diggers & construction work was a little annoying as was quite noisy but our second day was much more peaceful.

The up grade to a new twin room when the twin room id booked wasn't available. Staff were helpful.

Some one had a dog in their room and it was very noisy during the night. The menu didn't have the correct dietary information. Very limited menu for those with allergies. There wasn't any written information in detail as to what is in the food served for those who have allergies.
