What a beautiful property in a beautiful location. We loved the walk into St Davids as all the spring flowers along the lane were in bloom. We only stayed one night and now feel we should have booked two. We ate breakfast at the sister hotel but the smell of the continental breakfast made us wish we were staying for breakfast at the priory. All the staff during the booking process and at the sister hotel were exceptional and made us feel so welcome and looked after. Thank you for a lovely one night break for our anniversary, we feel as though we really celebrated in style.

A fantastic seafront location with a short walk to the beach, gardens and pier. The fact this hotel is dog friendly was a bonus although an additional £20 per night is required on top of your room rate and your dog needs to weigh 10kg or under to stay. My dog settled in very well as the staff were very friendly and made us both feel welcome. The outdoor pool was another feature that attracted us as well as the choice of restaurants. Cocktails in the bar were delicious and the Art deco decor was appealing.

The left hand window in room 103 didn't lock.

We had all three apartments for a family break of 17, using the middle one as a base for socialising and cooking, which went very well with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Right next to a pay car park and a supermarket at the bottom of the street, both very convenient. Also excellent walks down into the Goyt river valley, quite unexpected and a real treat. The host was very friendly, thoughtful and attentive.

Really nothing, although perhaps the lounge area lighting in the larger apartment is very white and harsh and could be uncomfortable on a wet winter's evening! The table lamp by the TV didn't have a bulb in it.

Had a single room which had everything you'd need. As it's a 17th century inn, part of the walls had the original paintings and was on display behind glass doors which definitely added character to the stay which I enjoyed. Very clean and comfortable. Food was great in the pub next door, lovely staff.

Could have done with a couple more tea bags and sugar but this was easily overcome by picking more up during evening meal at the bar.

Shower room a bit small . But as its an old building to be expected.

Spacious for a studio apartment, quiet location with nice views over the lake. Well equipped, clean, and a comfortable bed.

The apartment got a little bit too warm at times, but easy enough to open windows to let some fresh air in.
