      Breakfast was great, service excellent. I had the afternoon tea too which was lovely! Outdoor pool amazing and so relaxing. Loved the sea view.

      Kettle in the room needed descaling, first cup of tea had nasty film on top. Would have been nice to have a fridge and an iron in the room.

      The hotel, food and bar staff were all good. Room was clean and pleasantly decorated.

      The man on reception was rude and dismissive when we checked in. We asked about times for breakfast and were disappointed to have to leave before it started. He curtly said it says on the sheet what time breakfast is and pointed at the details he had just handed to us. We had hoped to have something to take with us as we had paid for breakfast but understood it may not be possible. He said Budgens and pointed towards the building next door. Such a shame when other staff are trying to create a nice atmosphere. By the time you read the note on the bed about the people who had made up your room you are already put off. The hotel should also advise before arrival that there is no one on site at night. It is not reassuring to be left with a mobile number in case of emergency.
