Travel Gurus sharing their best tips

How does it work?

  • 1

    It starts with a booking

    It starts with a booking

The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

  • 2

    Followed by a trip

    Followed by a trip

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

  • And finally, a review

    And finally, a review

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

The host is very kind and reply fast to our messages. The property is clean and there is everything you may need during your stay. We had easy seamless check in process. Location is good - we moved easily by Uber, some of us went to centre walking. The residential area is calm and really good to have a good sleep and rest after long day of exploring the city. Our family recommend this property!

The location was pretty good. A 20 min brisk walk to the train station and only a few minutes from the beach. Access to the room was very easy and the host provided good communication. The room is up several narrow flights of stairs but that's to be expected in this type of property. It appeared to be newly renovated and was clean and tidy.

    • Negative section of review

I should have read the details more carefully! The pictures show a "kitchenette" but really, it is nothing you wouldn't get in a hotel room - mini fridge and kettle. No microwave or toaster. So the idea that you would be able to make a meal or even reheat anything is out. The couch is a floor level futon - a little tough to use when you've got middle aged knees. The main room was large but very spartan - couch, picnic table (why?) and a small tv. The bed was comfortable but could use a bedside table with a lamp. There was no wardrobe or dresser. Overall, this would be okay for a couple young friends looking for a 1 night crash pad.

The location was right next to the beautiful cathedral and in the town center, easy to walk around to visit every spot we wanted to see. The room was beautifully decorated, loved the bathroom very much. The bed was comfortable.

    • Negative section of review

The car park was away from the hotel, we looked for the corner of the town to drop off some big luggage so did not suffer too much but it was inconvenient. There were some steps before the hotel lobby so it was another challenge to lift the heavy luggage. The reception lady was somehow less friendly but probably she had some tough day. The room was dark and faced the wall, we expected better.

Comfy bed, handy location as I was attending a concert at the o2, and everywhere else was easy to get to with the tube station across the road, friendly staff

    • Negative section of review

A bit pricey, what you get is good but if you aren't going to the o2 you're probably better off going more central for a similar price
