  Everything was just perfect and thanks to Carrie's warmhearted welcome i felt comfortable right from the start - thank you so much Carrie :D It's such a cosy and lovely place from where you can do a lot of wonderful activities :), even with the bus, because nearby is also the bus station. I recommend it and i'm going to come back again!

  Excellent location even if not using the airport. Close safe parking. Very friendly welcoming staff - all of them. Clean well equipped room with view of runway but no noise at all. Good choice of food for dinner and breakfast. Dog friendly.

  A stupidly left my walking boots in the room. Later the same day of departure I rang reception to tell them what I had done. They assured me the room would be checked and they would ring me back. 2 days later I have not as yet had a reply to my phone call or message sent. I cling to the hope that Holiday Inn have a clear policy on lost property and I will be contacted soon 🤞🏻I will ring again tomorrow but am not optimistic about my chances of recovering my property.

  The location suited my needs as I had gone to the Yorkshire Coast to visit Bempton Cliffs RSPB reserve which is quite close.

  The bar area where we were served dinner and breakfast was cold and uninviting - perhaps the fire could have been lit as it was a cold and miserable night. Asking for a toilet roll as I started my stay with hardly any - didn't get any so had to use the toilets in the bar. Not good to say I paid £120 for one night's stay.

  The RV was really dirty and badly appointed. Example; there were crumbs and a dirty floor, the fridge was filthy, a cat kept coming in and getting on the beds; we were told this was a farm cat, no idea if it had been treated for fleas but the whole thing was so dirty we ended up sleeping in our clothes on top of the beds. The hot and cold tap indicators had been switched over on the taps in the shower, so we were waiting and waiting for the 'hot' to warm up and it was freezing cold - cue cold showers all around. Every cupboard I opened was full of random stuff, it was as if we'd paid £159 (including hot tub) to sleep in the hosts over flow storage area. In terms of cutlery there was a plastic bag containing about 14 spoons, 1 knife, 1 fork. The mugs were dirty and chipped. There were signs everywhere advising us not to drink water from the taps but no warning of this and no alternative provided.
