Positive section of review
I booked this house to attend my cousin's wedding. Good location; quiet, serene, with a great mountain view. It was also only 10 minutes away from the wedding venue. The property has everything you need, and communication with the owner was incredibly nice specially when I couldn't find something.. Our cat was with us, and the owner provided a food/drink bowl for him, which he did not use, but it was extremely kind of the owner to think about my pet. In overall, I have loved my stay at this home.

Amazing breakfast. Good room Made very welcome and staff were accommodating. We stayed in a budget room, and were told by one of the hosts that they didn't like renting out our room as it was a budget room and didn't meet their standards. It was just amazing, if that was a budget room, I would have loved to have seen the better rooms. It was very clean and well presented with a comfy bed and far exceeded our expectations.

A great, atmospheric hotel that feels historic but with modern facilities. We had a huge, plush four-poster bed. Breakfast was very good, with a very good choice of freshly prepared hot items and the spa was outstanding. Free car park and just a short drive from the A1.

There are lots of stairs, corridors and long walking distances involved when getting around the hotel, which may be an issue for the infirm.

Really lovely building, tastefully incorporated history and modern comforts. The bed and pillows were so comfortable! Very clean, lovely touches in the room, restaurant food was excellent. Best part was the staff, so helpful and welcoming. Thank you!

Had a great stay at The Avon on my solo trip to Blackpool. Chris was so welcoming and friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. Bed was really comfortable and breakfast was excellent.
