We arrived really late, so Paul was on hand to provide a code to access the front door and our key to the room was waiting for us. The breakfast was really good and great value for money. Choice of bagels with bacon or sausage and a fried egg, eggs benedict and other choices as well as toast and some fruit and cakes. The facility is clean and well presented and the hosts, Paul & Lee are really accommodating and go out of their way to help.

The only points we were not so keen on, the bed was a double, rather than a king, which there was ample size to accommodate one. I am sure there is a reason. Secondly the bathroom was snug, but clean and functional.

The room was a really good size, and the sofa was a bonus for relaxing. It was really good to have a fridge, and there was plenty of storage and hanging space. Also really useful having the ironing board and iron in the room. Most impressed with the versatile table / desk, the top half of which swivelled 90 degrees, creating a nice little work area.

Would have liked more veggie options with the cooked breakfast (e.g. veggie sausages) Also there were a few things not available on the evening menu, reducing what I could eat.

The apartment was exceptionally satisfactory, conveniently situated near various attractions and dining establishments. The host, Steven, provided comprehensive explanations of all necessary information, ensuring a highly enjoyable stay. I highly recommend this accommodation and rate it 5 stars.

The only problem we had was a squeaky door in bedroom so was hard to nip to the toilet with out waking up the girlfriend 🤪

Good central location, clean and comfortable. Although the buffet breakfast choices were rather limited, the cooked breakfast was good and freshly cooked to order.

Hotel was rather dated and could do with renovation. The paintwork was in poor condition and the decor and furniture is very dated and low quality.

I am afraid the shower had an issue where it didn't stay on the temp set, I did report this afterwards. There were also a lot of silverfish insects, on the floor of the bathroom - doesn't bother me particularly (on reflection I should have asked for another room but was very tired after my journey and work) but not a great sign of cleanliness, I did report these to the front desk, but no one has since got back to me about this. I would have thought I'd be contacted with some form of voucher, or similar.
