  Our 2nd visit brilliant location seconds from seafront. Great character 16th century fisherman's cottage. We used top bedroom love watching TV at the end of the bed this is definitely a great find for us. My wife doesn't like walking too far so this is great for her.

  The beds were good place to sleep in after a busy day. Though small but I didn't care much for that. I was just a busy I can take away my stress away as I'm not around others.

  There wasn't much that I didn't like, only that I wished I learned when I got there. The cleaners took one of the key cards that were in the slot so I had to use one left. Also didn't know you can turn the shower tap further because you need to add a little shove for water to run faster.

  The hotel was clean and there was plenty of space for everyone. Extra beds and linens were included and overall the hotel was a really high standard.

  There was a small mishap with the lockbox that was sorted quickly and there was rubbish piled where rubbish should not be near the hotel.

  Beautiful accommodation with comfortable beds/Beautiful decor. Stunning views. So relaxing and everything we needed available

  Only one slight criticism was outdoor furniture was not cleaned but appreciate with weather very difficult to keep clean at all times but outdoor table/chairs were really dirty and couldn't use. Perhaps covers on the outdoor furniture would be a good idea.

  Nothing, Stay Away: Nightmare Experience at Basement Bliss Hideaway

  1-Throughout my entire stay, the smoke alarm in my room beeped loudly every 20 seconds. I informed the front desk immediately, but despite their initial promise to fix it, the issue persisted all my stay. 2-As late as 11 pm, the problem remained unresolved. The only solution offered by the owner was a refund if I vacated the room at that hour, which was impractical due to the lack of available rooms at such a late time. 3- It appeared the hotel was aware of the smoke alarm problem beforehand, as the plastic cover on one of the alarms was previously removed. Despite this knowledge, the room was still rented to me. 4- Furthermore, the room had several maintenance problems, including a broken dining chair, a malfunctioning heater, stained old bed sheets, and an unpleasant odor in the hallway resembling urine. 5- I politely requested a refund the following day due to the inconvenience, but my request was declined. Unfortunately, due to the lack of a VAT invoice provided by the company, I am unable to have my travel expenses to be paid by my employer
