  I choose to have a breakfast roll and coffee at the Starbucks in the service station. It was adequate but not something to linger over. In the Ibis room I particularly liked the shower - because there is only enough room to stand up and turn around in you don't worry about slipping and falling over. Also the little recesses are perfect for placing your shampoo etc.

  Great choice for breakfast which we didn't realise was included so a great bonus to our stay. Lovely friendly helpful staff in the buffet area. Covered walk way useful in UK climate, good size single beds, nice linen. The bar area looked very inviting but we were too tired to use it !

  We were given the wrong room, someone already in there. We were very tired and it had been a slog negotiating corridors, one of us had to go back down to reception to change key cards only to find we were on the next floor and another long walk. We were told they would look into but it wasn't mentioned when we checked out. The sliding door to the bathroom was a bit of an issue I was sorting out my luggage when my friend came out of the bathroom and stubbed my toe with the door. Wonder how often this happens.

  Great location. It was only a 5-10 min walk to Victoria Park, where the event I was attending was taking place. Very close to Lord St where many of the shops are too. Check in was very easy. The chap on the counter was expecting me and showed me my room straight away.

  The bed was uncomfortable. After two nights I had a sore back. The room was very small, but functional. I was woken up early on the second morning by the police hammering on the door of the room next to mine. Not exactly my idea of a relaxing weekend, although this is not the fault of the hotel.
