It was a family trip made up of 4 couples, one of them with a baby. We wanted to stay in a quiet area, where we could rest after the day and close to the metro and some cafes. The hotel is in fact located in a quiet area and very close to the metro (100m). There are cafes nearby for breakfast, such as Costa Coffee or Starbucks, and also some options for a last-minute lunch or dinner, such as Nando's, The Pizza Room or Subway. The manager (Jamie) is very friendly and willing to help, and the hotel's pizzas are very good.

There was no criteria in the allocation of rooms, since we, the couple with the baby, were given the smallest room where our luggage had to be placed in the passage between the door and the bed and on the second day the baby carriage was moved to another room, so that we could move around at least a little. The carpet on the floor is a little dated and dirty, and the general cleanliness of the rooms left a lot to be desired. In one of the rooms the water temperature fluctuated between hot and cold. Room review: Room 3 and 6 The AC dripped water when turned on Double windows that did not open, the room was not ventilated Light-permeable curtain (at 5am the room was already very bright) Audible noise from the lower floor (bar) until midnight No toilet brush Room 9 The automatic curtain worked by itself during the night. The bed was uneven, with the feet higher than the headboard Double-paned windows that did not open, the room was not ventilated Light-permeable curtain (at 5am it was already very bright in the room) Washbasin behind the toilet, difficult to access No toilet brush Room 12 (with baby) Room too small No hanger or place to hang clothes Washbasin behind the toilet, difficult to access Window did not lock, only leaned Bedroom door did not lock, despite the security card. Anyone could have entered during the day/night. The location of the hotel is very convenient for exploring Cheltenham. The hotel itself is lovely, very welcoming staff and the room was spacious and nicely decorated. The breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice. I would definitely stay again.

The room had the lovely smell of timber. Really well laid out and great location for restaurants and museums. The room had tall windows which looked over roof tops and let in natural light. It was also very quiet.
