We’ve stayed a couple of times at the Dakota, and will definitely be back. What’s not to love? - Location is ideal, entrance either via Russell Street or Greek Street - Rooms are beautiful, luxurious, spotlessly clean - Fabulous showers, with Molten Brown products - Comfiest beds and pillows of any hotel I’ve stayed in - Coffee pod machine in room - Excellent quality breakfast (both continental and cooked to order) - Sunday dinner in the restaurant was divine! - Such friendly, professional hotel staff who really go the extra mile to make sure your stay is a joy - Cosy romantic hotel bar for a glam night cap - It bears mentioning, the hotel smells incredible - Discount parking available at The Light (the hotel provide you a code to use when pre-booking).

The caravan is immaculate, modern and very comfortable and clean. The site is also lovely and fairly accessible by public transport. The host was fabulous, kind and caring and does her best to ensure that she communicates necessary information, though the site management is not easily forthcoming when it comes to any rule changes for example booking use of the public pool. Altogether wonderful stay would highly recommend.

You do have to book each hour to use the resort pool, which is not in the best condition but functional. And it is not clear before you book that dogs are not allowed around the lakes (The prettiest area of the site, even on leads) You also always have walk around the entire site to be able to come back on yourself to access public transport and local beaches which adds to the whining from tired children.

the bed was a standard double and quite tight for me and my husband. We also found the tv didn’t work either as the signal was intermittent.

Bed advertised as extra large double bed this was definatly no more than a standard double. A lot of mould build up in extractor fan causing a funky smell in bathroom. Tv not great.
