Unfortunately, my stay was disappointing. I arrived around 4pm Sunday the 16th and stay in room 808. Apron entering the room, I could hear shouting and screaming from the adjoining room consistently. Myself and my daughter decided to ignore it and go out for the evening as we had made plans. We arrived back to the hotel around 23:00 pm and to our surprise the shouting and screaming was still going on and at times it sounded violent which concerned both myself and daughter. I decided to go to reception around 1 am to raise my concerns. The duty manager assured me that this will get resolved and he had numerous complaints already. On my way back to the room, security were in the lift on there way to deal with the dispute. Unfortunately this only stopped for around 20 mins and then continued throughout the night which obviously meant myself and daughter did not sleep at all. Even when we went for breakfast, the shouting and screaming was continuing. Apon checkout, the lady was on the phone and did not ask me how my stay was which was frustrating as I was upset and wanted to express my disappointment. I requested to speak to someone and then proceeded to explain my disappointment. The duty manager apologised and agreed that it was unacceptable and also agreed to a full refund. I was asked to contact booking.com to request refund as it was booked with yourselves, which I did the same day. Unfortunately, I’m still waiting for a response nearly 48hrs after, which I was prompted that I would receive a response within 24 hours. Frustrating and disappointed to be honest

The old sash windows needed an overhaul as they were difficult to open for fresh air. The hot water took a little while to run through to the tap but ran fine after a minute or so.
