Contactless reception and no vending machine to buy cold drink and snacks on arrival. Arrived at 3pm but had to wait until bar opened at 5pm. Expensive room with cheap tea & coffee and no biscuits.

The room l was given was in a house along from the main accommodation and in a attic.l am in my 70s and was not expecting to climb 3 flights of stairs and then to find out that the shared shower room was on the landing below, the stairs were very steep and narrow not ideal , so if you wanted to fill the kettle up or go to the toilet you had to go down stairs, l explained l had a bad hip but was told they were full so l couldn’t get another room. The room was very dusty and the curtains were all stained.

It was extremely dirty and when pointing this out to the manager I assume, I was accused of ‘finding things to pick on’ as it wasn’t in my room it was in the communal areas and was spoken to in an extremely rude manner.
