Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London, hotel in London

Located on the South Bank of the Thames, Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London is set opposite the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, on the South Bank.

Everything. The staff were very helpful. The rooms were large and very clean. We had a little kitchen area with a microwave in our room which is great if you have children. We were given complimentary water, Elemis products. We also got two bottles of complimentary wine instead of room service (you can still ask for towels, products water etc) The breakfast is amazing, the best I have had at a hotel, there was plenty of choice and my daughter turned 4 while we were away and they gave her birthday pancakes. The pool area is lovely with a steam room.

Did not have breakfast, room was nice and little touches like ice in the corridor. Bottled water in the room and scales in the bathroom. We were very pleased some staff were nice some were rude just nodding head when you asked them a question. At one point we were totally ignored by reception staff as he went over to help Colleague with another customer and totally ignored us. We went over to the other table and asked the question and were able to go on our way after 10 minutes of being ignored.

I've travelled extensively and London is one of the most dirty place I've been to in Europe. However, it seems to be the norm these days. However, this and the fact that everything is so expensive seems to also be the norm. Transport was good and the Ubers were brilliant. All of the attractions we went to and Theatre Land was great.

The location of our flat Theobold & Emerald was perfect for it's central location to many popular London sites, shopping and food/entertainment options. Getting around in the Taxi (Black Cabs can be summoned on street in 30 sec) and Uber (less expensive, but had to wait to arrive) was VERY easy. MANY walking distance restaurants and coffee shops (Favorite place was "Becks" for coffee & breakfast) London was super clean, safe and welcoming in the areas we visited - Covent Garden, Piccadilly, Brick Lane, Westminster area (the touristy stuff), Trafalgar, Sky Garden and others. The pubs are as authentic as they get anywhere in the World! Our favorites - The Coach House (Piccadilly), Hercules Pillars (Covent Garden), Old Bank of England, Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese (historic but dreary) Don't forget to visit the Vintage Market at Brick Lane!

    London is a beautiful city.

London is a beautiful city. History, architecture, food all there of course. The Tube makes it very easy to get where you want to go yet there is still a lot of walking involved . It's the walking however that allows you to slowly experience the real details of the city.

London is the place to be.

London is the place to be. Best place is around Pall Mall with nice shops, society clubs and restaurants. We had lunch and dinner in different society clubs such as the reform club and travellers club. Afternoon tea in the Automobile club. Uber works perfectly well as a means of transportation and is relatively cheap. Stay away from regular taxi's as they are expensive and the drivers are not the most friendly Londoners I have met.

Setting aside all the historical aspects of visiting London, this town is abuzz with activity, energy and it never disappoints. Whether you have a day, a week or a month, there is always something to see and do. This is my 6th visit, and I still had new and entertaining experiences. Enjoying this city is not weather-dependent. Myriad indoor and outdoor activities exist. Note: If you wilt, avoid July and August. Robust A/C doesn't exist.

The hotel has obviously recently been refurbished, was very clean. Fridge in the room with milk and juice and choice of cereals for breakfast which you prepared yourself. When checked in, the person showed me up to my room on the 2nd floor and carried up my bag. Imagine that with Premier Inn or Travelodge. There were 4 parking spaces in front of the hotel so pot luck for a space and parking about 300 mts away for only £7.20 per day in, Westerfield Rd, London N15 5LD. Great location. if you are okay using the Underground you can get anywhere and with the addition of the Elizabeth line recently it makes getting around even easier. Nice breakfast to start the day especially as it can be hard to find an early morning breakfast in England. Also, Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens are a hidden gem in London for lovers of green spaces. since they are west of most sights they get overlooked. We walked from the hotel down through the park over to Buckingham and had a great time.

I think the location is the best this place has to offer. I won't lie, the view from our window was stunning (see photo)! We could see the cathedral from our room. We stayed in a private room with 2 single beds & shared bathroom. Hostels in London, the majority, are pricey and not great but still cheaper than hotels. The room was a reasonable size and it had a sink which was great because the sinks in the toilets were pretty small and quite low so ours was good when it came to brush our teeth :)

It had the best location, very well connected, 2 blocks away from Paddington station which has direct access to Heathrow express. You can find both train, metro and bus service to anywhere in the city. It was also close to many restaurants, eating joints, grocery store, and lots of other shops to buy souvenirs etc. Hotel agreed to store our bags after checkout, as we had a late evening flight to catch. Both check-in and check-out process were smooth. Front office staff were quite friendly and helpful.

The room was big and nicely decorated. I loved the shower room. The hotel is situated few minutes walk from Marble arch. We didn't have breakfast but there are many shops closeby. The room was always clean and so was the bathroom. The lounge area was small yet amazing. The hotel has certain touches you do not find in other hotels. It feels homey. Selected for its convenience to Padington Station, I was pleasantly suprised at this hotel. Having a delux double room, it was spacious, comfortable with all things needed such as iron and ironing board and a well sized barhroom. Large comfortable bed and reasonably quiet. London Hotels can be a bit hit and miss if you don't pay for a good sized room and aren't cheap but was happy with this choice for the cost.

Loved the theme of the decor in the hotel and our room. everything was in good shape and functioning well. we had seen some old reviews about the rooms being hot, but the room had air con and the window opened for a good breeze so the room was a great temp. Good location to things we planned to do. The hotel had an elevator which many in London/England do not. overall would definitely stay here again.

    1. The place was perfect for our family. We like to stay in places where there is a lounging/living room area and a kitchen; hence the preference for apartments over hotels. Loved the layout - two floors, entrance per floor, luggage storage under the stairs). 2. Ease of check in and check out. 3. Clean and comfortable. 4. Very responsive support even if not onsite. 5. The owner cared very much about easy check-in/ check-out and ensured we had everything we needed while our stay. The apartment is located a few minutes away from the tower bridge in a quiet area. Perfect for a few days of sight seeing London. For London the apartment is much more spacious and modern than most of the hotels - and considering the location, actually a real bargain.

Beautiful, tiny rooms that are easily accessible to the Earl's Court stop on the Underground. Took less than an hour to get to Heathrow. They also let you check your bags if the rooms aren't ready upon arrival. There are hotels in London that cost the same with amenities such as a swimming pool and laundry facilities but access to public transportation was a huge help.
