As one of the biggest cities in the world, Mexico City could be better described as an experience than a city. Founded in 1325 by the Aztecs as Tenochtitlan, it was both destroyed and rebuilt by the Spanish in the 16th century. Nowadays, it is the capital of the United Mexican States and its most important economic and cultural center.
The city center’s cornerstone is the famous Plaza de la Constitución, commonly called Zócalo. It's surrounded by the presidential Palacio Nacional and the Mexico City Metropolitan Cathedral.
The Avenida de la Reforma was built under the brief rule of Archduke Ferdinand Maximilian of Austria, while the deposed president Porfirio Díaz left a characteristic fusion of French-Mexican architecture. The 1960s saw a demographic explosion that only now is starting to be completely absorbed.
From the Chapultepec Parks and the chic Polanco, to the gay area of Zona Rosa and the Bohemian and intellectual Coyoacán: let Mexico City tell you its thousand secrets and stories.
Most of the hotels are located around the Reforma area, the Insurgentes Avenue and the Zócalo. If you’re looking for 5-star hotels in Mexico City, the modern Santa Fe area has a recently redeveloped business sector.

Great Lively Historic City. Depending on the length of your stay ... get a small travel guide, set up UBER and explore the recommended historic site. Walk from there and find great restaurant, bars and shops. GREAT VIBE CITY.

During my stay I choose Calle Culiacan because many tourists live or visit the area, but also because many places to explore are not far, always use taxies that the hotel call or the ones that are controlled by the agency, ask before you take the taxy how much they will cost you do not allow them to rob you, if you like the service of one ask for their contact info. the regular price for 30 min distance regular price is $380 pesos mx or $24 dollar and for the Chapultepec Park to Culiacan Street they should not charge you more than $150 pesos, I ate at the Mendl Delicatessen, the sandwiches were tasty, breakfast at Maque cute and old fashioned they charge me $46 dollars one person, I love tacos and Tacoarte was so good, you pay one drink second free , tacos al pastor my favorite. I visit the Anthropology Museum of Mexico, and the Castillo of Chapultepec, they were amazing and unique only cost you $95 pesos mx each.

Mexico City has come a long way from 10 years ago I was here, the city feels a lot more secure now. I would definitely recommend visiting this city. Sooo much to do and see! Not to mention the huge gastronomy variety.

I was pleasantly impressed with Mexico City.
I was pleasantly impressed with Mexico City. Its people are very kind and respectful, and very proud of their roots, they know their history very well, and feel proud ot it. Despite the large number of inhabitants, it is a very clean city, and very well preserved. Their food is fascinating, I loved the tacos al Pastor from El Tizoncito, and the churros with chocolate.

From the moment I arrived, Mexico City captured my heart with its vibrant culture and warm hospitality. I had the pleasure of visiting iconic locations such as the majestic Castle of Chapultepec and its serene park, and I navigated the city with ease using the efficient metro and Metro bus services. A highlight was the enchanting boat ride through the canals of Xochimilco and a visit to the spiritual Basilica, each offering unique insights into the city's rich heritage. To top it all off, attending a Madonna concert was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that added an extra sparkle to my visit.
The city's blend of history, culture, and modern attractions makes it a top destination for any traveler. I am already looking forward to my next visit and would highly recommend this mesmerizing city to anyone considering a visit. Mexico City, you have left an indelible mark on my heart!

I love visiting Mexico City.
I love visiting Mexico City. I have taken two vacation trips there in the last year. It is comfortable for a visitor with minimal Spanish language (but still, you should try, at least a little!). So many interesting and unique aspects. World class museums, fabulous murals, amazing archaeological sites, intriguing markets, memorable restaurants & street food, Lucha Libre, Ballet Folklorico, and much more. Go to Tours by Locals and arrange some outstanding guided tours (I have done 7 of them in Mexico City).
Awesome place! I really liked the hotel. The location is one of the best! Condesa is great and you have everything near the place, even a Starbucks on the first floor! Which I LOVED.
They were super collaborative and had great communication whenever I reached out to them.
Room was very spacious and I loved that cleaning was done daily.
The lady security guard was so lovely. She helped me with a lot of information and also took me downstairs to use the laundry room. She was so helpful and cordial it made my stay an extra amount of good!
Where should I start : Best location in Polanco ! Literally a couple of blocks to most restaurants and Chapultepec Park for the museo National de antropología and others. Extremely friendly and helpful staff - great breakfast with outstanding service . Intimate and low key property - you would never know it’s a hotel from the street . No. 404 where we stayed has an immense terrace - interior is well appointed - comfortable bedroom and smallish living room but who cares . It’s an outstanding jewel of a hotel and we will return !
When I missed my flight at the Mexico City airport and quickly needed to find a place to stay for the night, the huge markdown on such a well-located hotel really caught my eye. And sure enough, the property is a very elegant building with comfortable furniture and well-maintained interiors. And the Zona Rosa placement -- just a block from the intersection of Insurgentes and Reforma -- is a sleek, nearly unbeatable location.
Breakfast is ok, nothing special. The best thing is that there are two restaurants directly connected to the hotel which makes it easier to access food at almost any time. The room was done every day and staff was always very kind and attentive, however, I have the impression the room was never swept. The location of the hotel is perfect as it is close to many attractions of Mexico City. Overall, it is a great place to stay!
the only thing I really don’t fancy after a long trip to Mexico City is to worry about taking an Uber/ taxi and go to a different delegation/ area. this hotel is perfect located you don’t even need to leave the airport and the checkin was super quick! I arrived at 1 am for my checkin (10 hours after the check in time) but that wasn’t a problem at all and the staff was very nice in all moments. highly recommended it!
Wonderful property with an unbeatable location. The rooms and the common areas are beautiful and well maintained, just like shown in the photos. It’s within walking distance to Chapultepec, Reforma and Zona Rosa, and just a short Uber ride away from Polanco and Centro Histórico. The staff is so friendly. Javier and Juan at the front desk are simply amazing. Will definitely come back next time we are in Mexico City!
The hotel is based on a quiet street just a short walk from the heart of Condesa (with its variety of restaurants and bars). The staff were friendly and welcoming, holding our luggage ahead of check in and made it easy for us to stay an extra night. The suite is ideal, spacious and clean with a luxury feel, and a fantastically hot shower! We’d happily stay here again any time we’re in Mexico City.
You can walk to this hotel inside from the airport via overhead walkway, 50m max. Booking offers a taxi when you book, but it is not necessary. Breakfast is a buffet with a huge selection, including nutritious healthy options. Service is excellent. It’s $455 pesos, not cheap, so if you don’t eat much, might not be worth it. Free shuttle every 30 minutes to Terminal 2 is so convenient.
Everything. The hotel is super clean and the staff very helpful. The room was very quiet and the bed was spacious and comfy. The reservation included a nice free breakfast. I like the location because is very close to Alameda Central and several restaurants. I've stayed in many cheap hotels closer to Centro Historico but none met my expectations. I'll come back for sure.
Amazing position to visit the city. Really nice and always available staff. They add value to the hotel!!
The breakfast was very tasty, my room was extremely clean. (And I am really demanding about cleanliness.)
And what can I say about the free food and drink at the bar? Brilliant.
The best place to stay in Mexico City.
Can't wait to come back!
The hotel is modern, rooms are nice and well equipped. It is located very near Polanco neighbourhood, one of the poshest neighbourhood of Mexico City. It is a safe neighbourhood to walk even at night and there are many restaurants and bars nearby. The hotel has a private parking (garage) which is very useful if you are coming by car.
I stayed at modern room at 47 floor. it has fantastic and dramatic view to the city. I really like it! The facilities like swimming pool and sauna you should book. that’s not comfortable. The restaurant at the 38 floor is really nice and delicious and the staff are really attentive.
as for me this is the best hotel in Mexico city.
Nice location, La Condesa is full of restaurants and bars and easy to get to the center.Hotel was nice, well equipped and furnished, people helpful and it had the fastest internet we had in Mexico city (we have the comparison with other three places). We had the appartment with great wiew in the 4th floor.
2mn walking distance from the Zócalo and 10mn from Bella’s Artes, Mumedi hotel has one of the best location of Mexico City. It’s a small boutique hotel, with a classical but original design, a craft shop and a good restaurant.
I really loved this serviced flat/ hotel. It's spacious and very well-designed. I love that it felt like a home - with a beautiful kitchen and wonderful views of a quiet street in Polanco. I highly recommend staying here.
Nice apartment in one of the best locations in Condesa. Everyone working there was nice and helpful. I ve tried many apart hotels in Polanco & Condesa and this one has the best combination of quality and location.
The hotel is located in one of the best areas in Mexico City and was walking proximity to some of the best shops and restaurants in Polanco! Rooms were also super clean and staff very helpful!
very spacious studio in the best part of Polanco. I took a look at most of the hotels around the area, and this not only was more affordable, but was more modern as well
