Great location in Central Glasgow. We could walk to everything we wanted to see. The rooms are small but clean and recently refurbished. The staff was responsive and handled a booking issue on our part gracefully.

Great place to stay. Very polite staff, our flight was delayed and we were able to check in very late and they waited us for our arrival. Unfortunately we stayed there only a night and left the next morning so we were not able to properly enjoy the hotel but highly recommend.

The rooms, food, location, beer, and vibes are amazing. In particular, I like how the hotel is walking distance – even with luggage – from the train station, but not in a touristy spot. With just a 10-15m walk, you can get to the heart of tourism.

Very friendly small hotel set in impressive grounds set back from the road offering safe parking, storage and charging point for electric bicycles and super tasty evening meals. Staff were very friendly. Everything seemed so well organised and taken care of. Lovely comfortable bedroom with ensuite. A great place to return to after an active day spent cycling around this wonderful part of Scotland. Very relaxing and peaceful. Would most certainly recommend and would not hesitate to book again if we are fortunate to be able to return to the area.

There are somehow literally no museums or libraries open on Mondays or tuesdays, which were the days I was stuck there as a travel layover. So I got stuck literally just sitting in a park in the rain twice for several hours waiting to check in to my hotel, as there was nothing else to do since I didn’t need anything from any stores or restaurants and no other indoor spaces or activities were open within an hour and a half of the city centre by public transit. There are also only two small, museums available even on other days. Inverness might actually have the worst museum ratio Ive encountered in the British isles. Almost everywhere else has some form of local history museum or the like, Inverness has one historic house and one art gallery.

The beach is long and clean.

The beach is long and clean. There is a lot of construction work ongoing at the ice rink and swimming pool. It will be very good. Amustments and funfair open at 10. Ideal for the kids. The City is great for walking with nice parks with mostly clean streets. Of course it has its not so nice parts where the junkies hang about, every major city or town has them. Art gallery and museums worth a visit. loads of eating places.

A small town but with shops, cafes, cinema and good rail and bus links.speciailses in outdoor activities as UK outdoor centre. The West Highland walking Way from Glasgow ends here and the Great Glen way to Inverness commences. Lots of walks from low level to high mountains with bike trails and plentiful buses to lochs and mountains. The town sits on a loch amidst mountains and the loch is actually a 30 mile inlet of the Atlantic. Thomas Telfords, Caledonian Canal and Neptunes Staircase ( locks) is nearby with boat moorings.

Love this port as watching boats coming in and out to and from the islands is so interesting. Gift shops are lovely to walk round and we also enjoyed seeing the museum with artifacts from the wars as well as history of the town. We enjoyed going up to the lovely McCaigs tower overlooking the town. Spectacular views and interesting place to read history of
