Great location for visiting UToronto: right next to campus so everything in walking distance without the need for local transportation. Arrived significantly earlier than expected and was able to check in immediately, which was great after a long travel. The hotel is close to several restaurant areas, so plenty of options.

Know Before You Go: Navigating Toronto’s Unexpected Monday...

Know Before You Go: Navigating Toronto’s Unexpected Monday Downtime Our trip to Toronto was a delight—but we did get tripped up by one thing: Monday closures. We arrived Friday afternoon, expecting four days of classic sightseeing. What we didn’t realize was that many of the city’s attractions shut their doors on Monday, which threw a wrench into our plans. If we’d known, we could’ve easily adjusted our travel timeline to get the most out of our stay—perhaps extending our time in the previous city and arriving in Toronto a day later. With weekends and Mondays typically being popular with tourists, we assumed most places would be open. Closing on a Thursday or Tuesday might’ve made more sense from a visitor’s point of view. That said, Torontonians more than made up for the surprise. Whether we asked for help or were simply looking puzzled over a map, friendly locals were quick to offer directions, tips, and smiles. Pro Travel Tip: Start your Toronto adventure with the Hop-On Hop-Off Bus. It’s an easy, scenic way to get oriented and build your personal bucket list of sights.

The food in the dinner restaurant was amazing!

The food in the dinner restaurant was amazing! and the staff were really helpful and efficient ( shout out to Mia ). We were in room 227 and the beds were awful, way too soft. Otherwise the room was good and clean although a little cramped (I hit my arm twice on the corner of the tv walking past). The mixer in the shower needed upgrading because in order to get warm water you had to get wet in the cold first, not good. The location is really good and we loved the tram that went right in front the hotel. All the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Our go to hotel when we need to stay in downtown Toronto. Easy walk (20-30 minutes) to all downtown Toronto theaters, restaurants and office towers. Compact but comfortable room with queen and single bed and complete kitchenette (fridge, stove, microwave, pots and pans, dishes and utencils). Large outdoor parking lot, $20 a day.
