We were lucky enough to land on the tippy top floor and it was fabulous! My daughter left without her Airpods and the staff were good enough to conduct a thorough search of the room and found them under a bed, we're very grateful.

At the meeting point of Australia’s Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast, laid-back Brisbane is spread around the meandering river running through it. The river’s artsy South Bank is home to Australia’s largest modern art gallery, tranquil gardens and an artificial beach. Just across the river is the towering skyline of Brisbane's central business district, the location of many hotels in central Brisbane.
Nearby are the botanic gardens and Queen Street Mall, the most popular Brisbane shopping spot. There are more shopping centers all over the city, and the out-of-town malls include one in the Indooroopilly suburb by the foothills of Mount Coot-tha.
This green hill offers fabulous city views and has a planetarium, nature reserve and yet more botanic gardens. In Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary to the south, you can hug one of the lovable animals, while Australia Zoo – Steve Irwin’s legacy – is a good day trip.
Brisbane is a very leafy city and one of its parks, Wickham Park, contains the Old Windmill, Brisbane’s oldest building. To the northeast, the Fortitude Valley suburb is known for its vibrant music scene and Chinatown. Across the river in Woolloongabba is The Gabba or Brisbane Cricket Ground, and nearby is the bohemian West End district.
Booking.com has plenty of downtown hotels, and other accommodations near Brisbane Airport in a northeastern coastal suburb.
We stayed in what would be considered the business district,...
We stayed in what would be considered the business district, just across the river to the South Side, which was within walking distance and had a wonderful riverside walking area, botanical garden, remnants of their World Expo, and museums. In a different direction, there was a closed street mall (where you could walk between buildings filled with shops and food stops). Every time we went out, we found free concerts and music: a singing competition, the Queensland Youth Orchestra, and even a free concert in the City Hall by the only Brass Orchestra in Australia. At one point, we even heard bagpipe music in the distance!
Walking around felt safe. The people at the Information centers were very helpful as well, and offered several maps, including a walking map with four options and help with any transportation questions. We opted to take a day tour to the Australia zoo, which was very reasonably priced and extremely impressive. All-iin-all it was the best ending to our time in Australia!

We were near Howard Smith Wharves which we had never been to. They were interesting though way overpriced for everything they offered. The area around was lots of coffee shops and a couple of small supermarkets. The river walk was great and we enjoyed it at night as we headed out for dinner then returned. Felt very safe at all times.

Lots of things to do in Brisbane, plus it is centrally located between the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast and also the Hinterland, with such places as Mount Tamborine and also Montville and Malaney are all just a day trip away . On the negative side it cost me a fortune in Road Toll fees and the traffic is horrendous.

The accommodation was great for what we wanted.
The accommodation was great for what we wanted. However, it stated we were staying in one building, but they booked us into a different block, and there was no off street parking as advertised on the booking. com website.

It's late May & still warm enough to wear shorts & Tee shirts. The City is not as big as Sydney & Melbourne, but the Pubs & restaurants are just as good as those cities. The Area under the Storey Bridge is nice to visit for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Ferry rides on the river & bike rides along the river are highly recommended.
The apartment is in a good location at the western end of Southbank. Easily accessible to all Southbank facilities including bridges to Brisbane CBD and ferries. The swimming pool area (in Tower 1) is beautiful and spacious - very clean with barbecue and seating facilities. Staff were friendly, lifts efficient and public spaces open and light. The curtains in the living space had fallen from the rail - it was fixed within an hour or two of me making the reception staff aware.
Staff were super friendly here. Made an additional night stay and reservations team were great and offered advice on how to get to hotel and airport. Allowed early checkin and late checkout. Rooms were clean and tidy. Housekeeping were great also. Recommend if you're looking to explore around Brisbane (Queen Street Mall) and Southbank. Loads of buses, ferries and train station within walking distance.
A quality hotel for the price of a motel. Excellent location just a stroll to the river. Well appointed room with full-size bath and large shower. Beautiful view of the city skyline and very comfortable bed. The only hotel I know of right on the edge of the CBD with FREE secure parking. Will absolutely be staying again the next time I am in Brisbane.
Really liked the apartment we stayed in, was great value for money. super central only 20 mins drive into the city and 10 mins to the Westfield mall. room was clean, comfortable and modern. staff are very friendly and up beat. parking is much cheaper than other hotels/ services apartments closer to the city. wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
I booked two different rooms, on arrival in Brisbane and on my return trip before departure, Queens size bed and King size bed, both beds were really comfortable, very helpful staff made it work for me ! thanks again !
The hotel was located between the airport and the city, bus and train in minute walking distance. very practical !
The Pacific Hotel Brisbane is in an excellent location and has the potential to be a highly sort after hotel, for comfortable & convenient Brisbane City accommodation. The staff are excellent. The restaurant / Bar is high quality. The rooms are spacious & designed well for the needs of potential clientele.
It is only a 30 minute walk along the river to the City, South Bank or Brisbane's West.
The apartments were a good size, equipped with washing machine and dryer - neat and tidy.
There are also quite a few cafes and restaurants nearby - shout out to the bunker for best coffee.
great location opposite the gardens, quiet but convenient location in the CBD. can walk anywhere, including to Southbank, theatres, art galleries. Good buffet breakfast, ample but not outstanding. Parking access is very easy. This hotel is an old favourite for me.
Clean, comfortable, and safe. Free, inside parking. Free laundry facilities. Walkable neighborhood. (PA stands for Princess Anastasia. The apartments are directly across the street from a hospital of the same name.) Quick drive to the Brisbane CBD.
Excellent location close to CBD , & within walking distance of everything of interest, Southbank , restaurants , botanical gardens, & generally a shopping paradise . Brisbane has definitely become my favourite city to visit .
We like nothing in this hotel. The space inside the apartments were good but rooms were full of dust. We have stayed in the hotel for 3 nights but they haven't even provided us at least toilet papers for the next two days.
If you need a clean, comfy, well located and relatively cheap place to stay overnight in Brisbane, this is the place for you. A short taxi drive to the city bars and restaurant, and a very short drive to the airport.
Very cool & modern hotel in the CBD overlooking the river and Southbank. Great attention to detail in room fitout. Certainly more interesting & fun than its muted contemporaries. Highly recommend.
Spacious 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartments, bathtub in one of the bathrooms for kids, great city views from the balcony, clean linen, comfy beds, good location to Southbank.
Location is great in this area. Close to many restaurants in the Southbank area and only a 10 minute walk across the river bridges and you are in the Brisbane CBD.
The apartments have 24hr reception. We booked the studio apartment, it is small but comfortable with all you need for a couples weekend stay in Brisbane CBD.
