Victoria is a very beautiful city, definitely worth visiting. The ocean, the parks, the unique stores, and especially the food options for us vegans are fantastic! However, I was deeply disturbed by their homeless/drug addicts problem, not so much for safety reasons but more for compassionate ones. We just had a few days in the city as we were stopping off on the way home after a 10 week trip. If we had stayed longer we could have seen more of the island and the wildlife experiences.
