The room we stayed in was very spacious and comfortable. There were extra amenities in the room, like soaps for the shower, along with coffee and tea and a kettle. The establishment was easy to navigate, and the staff were friendly. The area was very quiet at night and we had a very restful stay! Parking was plentiful and convenient. The breakfast was very filling! Lots of fresh options, hot and cold.

Delicious food and peaceful stay The on-site restaurant is excellent — we had the mixed meat platter for two and it was absolutely fantastic! The hotel is located by the road, but at night there’s very little traffic, and most rooms face the quiet side of the property, so it’s very peaceful. The air is incredibly fresh, and the hosts are extremely polite and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Preston is a nice and quiet town in England's north and worth a visit for its monumental buildings, like the Harris Museum and Library as well as the Market. We absolutely loved the Wallace&Gromit Statue! The University of Central Lancashire has added to the overall modernization of the town in a very positive way. Three Shopping Centres and the High Street offer plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from!

I lived near Preston when I was a child and went to school there. Always like visiting. The city is full of history and Avenham Park is lovely. It's a shame some of my favourite shops have closed down though.

Loved this hotel, it was clean, on arrival greeted by a lovely member of staff at the front desk. He clearly explained everything and offerdd help if we needed it, the hotel was spacious, the room was delightful, my daughter and I were pleasantly surprised, the bathroom was very modern the beds were comfortable, we had a sound sleep, the shower was awesome, there was a tv and tea and coffee which i sampled, the restaurant was very busy this weekend, so there wasn't many free tables but we managed to find one although the staff could of cleared away others plates of uneaten foods or half eaten foods and used drinks etc, because i had to remove onto another table and gave the table a wipe over, the ques were big the food was abit low, but the members of staff were trying there best but i just don't think there was enough staff on for the restaurant that morning, but regardless of this the food was tasty, and could top up quite often too.... My young daughter enjoyed it, also not too far from vue cinema by bus or taxi, also the poachers eatery, the local supermarket sainsbury, aldi, pubs, B&Q, other eaterys, burger king, and preston town centre approx 3miles, lots of shops, lots of pubs great nightlife fri and Saturday, plenty to ssd and do for adults, children and families, parks, McDonald's, restaurants, lively pubs nightclubs, always busy and friendly people too

I always imagined Preston to be a lot smaller than what it is. Don't get me wrong, it's not the prettiest as it is really run down in a lot of areas, but it has a lot to it. The town has every type of shop, restaurants, cafes, and not least the bars, including a new Irish bar, that you'll ever need, the people are friendly and welcoming. I really enjoyed my few days there. The one shop that definitely stood out for prices and friendliness was the Trespass shop. Apparently they always have great sales on that you won't get in other towns. My wife and I got boots and jackets out of there and save a couple of hundred pounds compared to their Belfast stores. The best place that we ate in was called 'The Guild'. This place is most certainly worth a visit. Inexpensive great food and beer to wash it down with. But, it's the bar/restaurant itself that caught our eye, it's like a large old brick house that was lit up, with a massive beer and picnic garden space wrapped around it with a kids area at the end. But, even that was beaten by how friendly its staff were. There were only 3 staff on as it was only a Thursday night, and the place seemed business you didn't have to wait long to be served. Even though it was our first time there, the staff spoke to you as if they knew you. A big thank you to the Guild for a very good first experience. If anyone is visiting Preston, they should definitely go!

I would highly recommend, we stayed for one night but would happily have stayed for longer, and we will be coming back. It was amazing value for everything included. I was impressed by the kitchen and the facilties, it had a great amount of coffee, tea, hot chocolate and even milk in the fridge, which you don't often get at other hotels. The location is near winckley Park and very central, easy to get into the city centre and back. The bed was so comfy and the bathroom was luxurious! Thanks so much :)

Had to book into hotel at short notice due to train being terminated in Preston as line was closed. The room was great, lovely comfy bed and nice hot shower. Breakfast was included with my room, good choice of hot and cold food plus plenty of decent coffee. Check in and check out was easy. Would definitely recommend and would happily use again.
