About this property
Located in Gaiole in Chianti, the ‘most beautiful place to live’ according to Forbes magazine, Ultimo Mulino lives up to this reputation. Set in an old mill, restored using original stonework, it provides scenic views over the Tuscan hills. Offering a casual yet elegant atmosphere, guests will enjoy the hotel’s panoramic pool or the outdoor patios. In winter you can drink local wines in the hotel’s lobby, fitted with exposed wooden beams and terracotta floors. Rooms at Ultimo Mulino combine the rustic feel with modern amenities. Those include a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, air conditioning and an private bathroom with spa bath. Specialties from Tuscany’s culinary tradition are offered at the hotel’s restaurant, still prepared following old-time recipes. The friendly staff can suggest wine routes and walking itineraries within the Chianti Area. We have just opened a new area 2625 feet from Reception called 'Borgo Le Noci'! New rooms, equipped with the most modern comforts. Both areas are served by an outdoor swimming pool with a view of the hills and a wine bar, guaranteeing maximum relaxation and service. Breakfast will be held in both areas from 8 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. where the light lunch will also be served for total relaxation. The Ultimo Mulino Restaurant will be available every evening in the Reception area, characteristic menu and a renowned wine list. We recommend making a reservation.
