We took one of the dolphin watching trips and found a pod of ten dolphins. Got some great photos. We took the cable car up to the botanic gardens and the Monte palace. Amazing plants and animals, even a flock of flamingoes. Look in at the ‘Bazar do Povo’ ,an amazing good value department store left over from the 1950’s. Very beautiful ,attractive and a busy city, panoramically situated on the steep slopes above the ocean, full of natural ,historical and cultural tourist attaractions ,Great food, restaurants ,bars and cafes !Friendly local people ,nice bus, Uber and Bolt drivers. The location was lovely if you like peace and quiet, we knew the location so we’re not too bothered that there is nothing to do in the evenings, most of the cafes close and is difficult to find somewhere to eat for dinner if you don’t stay in the hotel.
