The dinner on the rooftop was fantastic. We had a Plus Comfort Suite and the seating area was nice and the balcony was nice. The bathroom was huge but it had an awkward setup. There was one gentleman who was not behind the desk that was some kind of a customer service who was very pleasant and always very nice to us.

I recently stayed at YOTEL Porto and had a fantastic experience. The location is superb, close to the heart of Porto, making it easy to explore the city’s main attractions, restaurants, and shops on foot. The hotel itself is modern and impeccably clean, with well-maintained facilities and rooms that have a sleek, functional design. Everything felt fresh and well-cared for, which made the stay that much more comfortable.
The quality of service was also impressive; the staff were welcoming and attentive, always ready to help with recommendations or answer questions. The amenities in the room were top-notch, offering everything I needed for a relaxing stay. My only hesitation would be that the price is a bit on the higher side, but given the quality, location, and cleanliness, it still felt like a worthwhile choice. I’d definitely recommend YOTEL Porto for anyone looking for a high-quality, convenient stay in Porto!

One of the more beautiful cities in the world with exemplary food at the many restaurants at a remarkably inexpensive price. Walking the city and seeing all the historical buildings, amazing tiles, cut stone sidewalks and lovely shops made for a fun excursions. Combining a stay in the city with a week's cruise down the Duro river makes for a fantastic vacation.

Porto is a great city with friendly people.
Porto is a great city with friendly people. It's easy to get around by just using public transportation. Language isn't much of a problem and many people speak English. The many sites and riverfront are wonderful places to see/experience. Perhaps the downside is the generally unpredictable rain (I was there in October).

Porto and its neighbouring district of Vila Nova de Gaia is...
Porto and its neighbouring district of Vila Nova de Gaia is a friendly and safe city with plenty of options for eating, shopping and sightseeing. The banks of the river Douro slope sharply so will keep you fit if you are fond of walking. There are some imaginative solutions to help including a funicular railway, lifts and a cable car. The old part of Porto contains many interesting buildings and streets, many of which are in need of much repair but this does not detract from their charm.
Plenty of restaurants but, unsurprisingly, the best tend to be the local Portuguese cozinhas. Make sure you try the francesinhas which are like a sandwich covered in sauce. Most restaurants promote a full meal at lunchtime but we found that many also offered salads at lunchtime as well as pasta and rice dishes.
Public transport is very affordable and there are many options for getting around the city or visiting towns and villages in the wider area including buses, trams, metro and mainline trains. Access for disabled visitors is patchy however.
For a trip to the seaside, visit Foz which can be easily reached by bus or tram.

The best stay of our Portugal trip! The staff were wonderful, and took quite a bit of time to give us insider tips and recommendations to get the most out of our Porto visit. The room was large and spacious, and very well-appointed. The bathroom was huge (especially in comparison to other places we stayed). There was a tree with avocados growing outside our window, and even a complimentary bottle of wine, which we enjoyed out on the balcony. Breakfast was wonderful, and much appreciated. Book this place! It's amazing.

Among the hotels we visited during our trip to Portugal, this one truly stood out as one of the best. The room was impeccably clean, and the staff was exceptionally kind. Notably, the bed in this hotel was extraordinarily comfortable. If we ever return to Porto, there's no doubt we'll choose this hotel again.
Very helpful and kind hosts. The hotel is located on a street on good place for walks around the city, close to metro and next door from a good restaurant. Room was clean and well furnished. Breakfast was tasty, on an outdoor porch. Overall a very good introduction to Portugal which made our stay awesome.
My birthday fell during our stay and on their own the staff delivered champagne and dessert to our room. Breakfast was the best we had in any hotel in Portugal.
