Comfortable and was able to use the Link to reach the hotel from the airport. Was able to walk a few blocks to get to Pike Place. Ferry terminal to Bainbridge was a bit of a further walk but doable if you don't have mobility issues (note: lots of stairs).

Fairly priced for an awesome location thats close to downtown/Pikes place. The underground parking is great @ $20 per day. The rooms and hotel itself are somewhat grubby and worn, but compared to other hotels in this area, I can live with it.

FAQs about hotels in Seattle

The Emerald City

Nicknamed the Emerald City due to its lush greenery, Seattle is best known for its great waterfront, fantastic skyline and infamous rainy weather. In reality though, the city gets less rain a year than New York or Atlanta!

One look at Seattle’s skyline and you’re immediately drawn to the iconic Space Needle. Standing proudly at 600 feet, this major landmark features a rotating restaurant at 490 feet and has been featured in numerous films and TV shows, including the classic "Sleepless in Seattle."

The Needle isn't far from the popular Pike Place Market, a public farmer’s market selling fresh produce and crafts from local farms and independent merchants. It’s also the place where the Starbucks Corporation was founded in 1971. Enjoy a cup of coffee in their original store! Seattle has many popular parks and, thanks to its mild marine climate, is a great place for outdoor activities. A visit to Kerry Park to admire the best view of the city with Mt. Rainier in the background is a must!

Arriving at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, you’re only about 35 minutes from downtown and whether you’re looking for a hotel with free parking or near the airport, Booking.com has a great choice for your Seattle trip.

Seattle downtown is very nice and walkable.

Seattle downtown is very nice and walkable. There were a few too many drug addicts in touristy areas. We tried eating at an outdoor cafe but there was a homeless addict right beside our table and we had to go inside even though it was a glorious day. We went to Pike Place and it was great. We ate oysters and sat outdoors at Elliot’s. Service was decent, oysters and cocktails were delicious.

Seattle is always a wonderful place to visit and to make...

Seattle is always a wonderful place to visit and to make lasting memories. Driving and walking is so easy to decide to do no matter where you stay in Seattle... just wear your comfiest pair of sandals, shoes or sneakers. If you are able to do so, visit Pike Place, The Smith Tower, Chihuly Garden, as well as a couple of these restaurants >Canlis, El Gaucho, Metropolitan Grill, Noi, Six Seven, The Butcher's Table, Palisade< meals are exceptionally delightful to the taste buds and the pricing notes it too, so view each for your budget and view attire dress code... A Tip for families on a budget!... Always try to find a hotel with a mini kitchen in room with unlimited breakfast included and one that is closest to the attractions you intend to visit to make the most out of your trip conveniently. Also, check hotel parking, valet/fees prior to making your hotel decision. Pack your luggage on the light side and choose a hotel that has dry cleaning/laundry facilities to avoid over packing and bringing unnecessarily clothing. Oh, don't forget a small umbrella. Do pack weather appropriate clothing items... some ideas... bring two pair of slacks, three tops to rotate with slacks or Jumpsuit a skirt or dress which are so easy to pack due to their material fabric which will fold easily into the luggage with no strain to close it upon adding toiletries etc. (Boho blouses, Chiffon Cover Tops, Linen/Cotton) are great items to easily fold in luggage which will leave one with lots of room for those unexpected purchases to bring back home :-). Have a wonderful visit reader! ...my husband and I do every time we go :-)

Seattle is one of my favorite cities to visit.

Seattle is one of my favorite cities to visit. The downtown area is very walkable however you may encounter steep inclines closer to the waterfront. Great food options, I love seafood so plenty of options for that. Ivar's is great, you can share your meal with the seagulls willingly or not. I'm a sports fan so I've been to Mariners and Seahawks games, the venues are both great, I always use public transportation or stay at a hotel close enough I can walk to the games. The Link Light Rail is nice as a cheap transportation option. It can take you from the airport all the way up to near Lynnwood I think. I don't remember how much it was but I think it wasn't more than $5. I'll be going back a couple more times for a Kraken game and another Seahawks game. For the Kraken game I'm going to take the Amtrak Cascades into Seattle and then take the Link Light Rail to my hotel downtown near the Climate Pledge Arena. I hear the traffic is horrible but I wouldn't know because I always fly in and/or use rail. I will drive for the Seahawks game later this year but my plan is to stay at a hotel on the south end of the Link Light Rail near the airport and take the train to the game to avoid dealing with traffic. Ive been to Seattle a couple of times already and there's still a lot I haven't done that I would like to do such as check out their museums. I haven't really done anything on the water yet either. Next time.

I enjoy to see how Seattle is progressing , peer 52 area and pike market , the new walkway and access to puget sound, also the new cycle ways and pedestrian walkways , I cycle and walk , I find that Seattle is becoming much easier to cycle around , and the light rail takes my to where I need to be with my bike

So many things to do and to short of a time to do them in.

So many things to do and to short of a time to do them in. We enjoyed the Beneath Seattle tour, China District and the pier and Market Place. Loved the fact that there are a lot of places to walk and ride bikes. Parking is mostly limited to street parking (narrow roads at times) unless downtown or at a shopping center. Add just a little travel time when going downtown as there always seems to be traffic but it does continue to move. We look forward to returning soon!

Very well located for the Space Needle and the Climate Change Arena. The mono rail is also there too.. Also on a bus route for down town. Walkable to the harbour and downtown too. Staff so friendly and helped with amenities round the hotel. Good roof patio, unfortunately for us...rained for the 5 days we were there on and off🙈. Hotel got bikes too and car park if needed. Rooms spacious and clean. Would def recommend and go there again if visiting Seattle again from the UK.
