The position of the Hotel was ideal to get to where we needed to be. The Hotel setting was lovely, over the lake. Also, after being out all day, it was so convenient to just walk over to the Festival leisure park to find somewhere to eat. A very nice and convenient Hotel. The house was amazing. The whole house was very clean, a lot of spaces, the bed was very, very comfortable and magnific garden. We enjoyed our stay in the there. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The bed was comfy and the room clean. Public transport was great.
Public transport was great. Many paved paths 'shared' for walking & cycling. However, unlike the roads there, the paved sidewalks -especially when walking outside of the 'Town Centre,' are often uneven as I found myself being frequently 'tripped-up.' Also, in some areas, the bushes near the sidewalks haven't been 'tended to' by the city and are often encroaching onto the sidewalks -footpaths, which in turn are 'in-your-face!' I attended my brother’s wedding here and the venue was beautifully decorated. The food was delicious. I stayed overnight and the room was clean and the bed super comfortable. All staff were so friendly, helpful and professional. We really couldn't have had a more pleasant experience. Rooms were clean, tidy and very welcoming.
