Lovely to find new restaurants in the town, to get a lovely meal other than just fish and chips. Loved the interesting architecture of the buildings, stunning views, beautiful clean beach with lifeguards. Variety of shops within easy walking distance, great choice of places to eat. Great Victorian tramway to get from town down to beach if you don’t want to walk. Lots of amusements, 2 theatres, nice indoor market Pretty harbour complete with lighthouse and the amazing Scarborough fair museum a 15 min ride away. Big enough to accommodate lots of tourists, parking OK, with a disc system that gives three hours free - available from hotels and shops, and even from Traffic Wardens.
