I loved the variety of food offered at breakfast including made to order coffee. I felt the customer service was lacking in all regards. We were only shown to our room, not shown the pool or other property. I assumed the "sister" property was connected this property and it was not. Our A/C did not work and they made no attempt to fix it. They simply provided us with a fan to blow the hot air around. Our little fridge was not cold so our food spoiled. There were no set hours as to when you could get a drink during the day. One moment by the pool the bar was closed; the next minute it was open.Guest review byParkerUnited States - 8.0
The location was fantastic!
The location was fantastic! You are completely surrounded by beauty. The only problem I personally had was the heat... and I was unable to produce cross current ventilation in the downstairs area where my daughter slept on the sofa bed because of the lack of screens on the doors ....and you needed them because of mosquitoes and bees! We loved it .
We loved it . We loved the staff , the wine and the breakfast was magnificent. The gardens were a dream and the kids enjoyed the pool . The restaurant on-site was expensive and the kids would have loved some more basic options . The room was clean and linen good however o feel that the accommodation could be upgraded some what . We were actually very pleased that we were put in the “new” building because it has a much better pool and view than the main house. You really felt surrounded by nature.
