Hotels in South Korea

Room is a bit small but enough room to stay for a couple days and a new renovated facility! Good access to public train stations. The lady who run this accommodation was extremely nice and always willing to help us. We needed to change the flight due to wether conditions and she let us use her phone and talk to the airline staff trough the phone for us and safely we were able to get our flight taken care of! I would definitely go back there to see her!:) highly recommended!!!!

Perfect place , just unbelievable 🥹

I heard from the staff that the hotel had literally just finished its renovation last week and only opened this week. Everything was brand new and super clean, and the bed was really comfy! I felt so lucky to have found this hotel for my stay in Seoul this time. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly. I would definitely come back. Highly recommend this place.

I strongly prefer staying places that have character and beauty, and The Magpie is one of the only hotels I’ve found in Seoul that meets my expectations while staying in budget. The rooms are beautiful and bright, and the location inside the historic YMCA building provides character and some fun amenities. The in-room amenities are nicely arranged; we especially enjoyed the mixtapes! The rooms were very comfortable to relax in when we needed a break from adventuring, and the cocktails available in the lobby each evening were excellent. The hotel is in a fantastic central location near Cheonggyecheon Stream and walking distance to popular neighbourhoods like Myeongdong, Insadong, Gyeongbokgung Palace, and many art galleries and museums. It’s also right next to transit so venturing further across Seoul was easy. The staff was the most standout feature of The Magpie. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and had great recommendations for food, coffee, cocktails, spas—basically anything I needed, they had a suggestion, and sometimes even helped me navigate reservations because my Korean is very poor.

It has clean a proper installation. Also a Gym easy to access. The location and view of my room let me keep the curtains opened.

The rooms were way better than expected. Everything is newly renovated. Rooms are small but it has everything you need. The staff are absolutely amazing and made the stay that much better. The stay is right next to the bus stop and subway station also there is a convenience store right downstairs.

Excellent value, for a self check-in hotel there was still someone to help out at the lobby. Lots of snacks included with the room. Room was clean and comfortable. ii was really cozy to have jazz music im the room when we woke up with the rain. Breaksfast is brought to each room around 8am. Close to restaurants by walk, parking is tight but free of charge

Location close to Songdo beach was ideal as I prefer a more quiet area in comparison to the more touristy beach areas. Plenty of restaurants & convenience stores downstairs & the more you walk along the beach area the more appear. Beautiful view of the waters from my room. Staff were very helpful & welcoming.

The staff and customer service at the hotel were excellent.
