The place is gorgeous, quite and unique. The staff were extremely nice and we highly recommend the bubble experience. They even let you choose what scent you want for your bubble. The on site cenote was really cool since we had it to ourselves, they also provide board games and even a telescope in the bubble which was really nice.

We arrived relatively late, directly from Cozumel, salty and tired. The owners were waiting for us with a delicious meal (perhaps the best we had in our week long stay) and they dried all our wet clothes from the beach as we needed to depart very early the next morning. It was a life saver. We only saw the hotel at night. It was stunningly beautiful yet marvelously simple: the way we like it. Dinner tables were hand made from local wood, every detail was lovingly set and attractive. To be clear: this is not a luxury hotel, but one that knows how to make you comfortable in good taste. We had three beds for a family of four (excellent) and the sheets were surprisingly dry for a damp region in the middle of the forest. The owners were extremely friendly. We chose the hotel for the proximity to the airport and slept there only a few hours. I regret not having spent more time, enjoy the pool and explore the area. We may come back. We wholeheartedly recommend this neck of the woods. We are spreading the word among our friends.

I don’t want to hear one bad review about this place. I have not one bad thing to say. The staff goes above and beyond, they are kind, friendly and very helpful. The rooms are so clean, the property is being constantly maintained. The beach is not the best, not very swimmable (there’s manmade sand bars in them for protection I presume), but that isn’t their fault it’s the location. Around the bend the waters are just different. Do your research if you want clear turquoise, it’s a different area. But the sand is well maintained and laying on the beach is still beautiful. They are serious about the adult pools, they will kick out anyone who isn’t of age. Which I actually appreciate even though I went with my teens. Is the food top tier? Not really but if you stick to Mexican it’s delicious. They are trying to satisfy tastes from all over the world. So be respectful and open minded and find something you like. Make your reservations for dinner as soon as you arrive or you will be eating buffet every night (which I didn’t mind). Overall I’m super happy with the time we spent there. Wendy was ace in helping us set up excursions. And Freddy didn’t even hesitate when we booked the wrong building away from our friends, to get us to the right spot. Great people. Great time.

    I absolutely loved my stay at Tere’s apartment! It’s a bright, stylish, and cozy space with everything you could possibly need. The apartment was spotless, well-organized, and thoughtfully prepared. Every detail made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Tere is a great host, and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish. I’d happily come back!

    I loved this quiet beach town and will come again.

    I loved this quiet beach town and will come again. It was the perfect place to come and relax without the crowds of Tulum or Playa del Carmen. I felt safe walking at night and in general. There are some truly excellent restaurants and one of them, Punta Corcho made me cry when I tasted their shrimp soup. It was that good! I loved swimming at the nearby cenotes, which were like an fairytale and having a fresh coconut every day was a treat! Truthfully, I was in need of a little mental and physical healing after suffering a knee injury that took too long to heal and Puerto Morelos hit the spot. I can’t wait to return and next time I’ll stay longer.

    Very nice little town not too overcrouded of tourists. Enough restaurants and bars, frendly Mexicanos. I did try a few retaurants and encountered "mama mia" take away, few tables on site a kind of pizza with shrimps : fantastic and I a "gourmet"

    Nice town with a white sand beach great for snorkelling and swimming. If you want to take a boat for snorkelling they supply all equipment and take you towards the reef, very easy to organise at the time, inexpensive too. You can lay free at the beach and swim all day with no hassles.

    Lovely town, not too big and has all you need, grocery store, restaurants, cafes etc. Becoming more and more touristy, with lots of construction, which is concerning as far as how will they be able to manage the infrastructure such as water/plumbing/power etc……???

    Very charming little B&B right on the beach, like 10 meters away from it. Excellent Mexican breakfast, good, strong coffee, with comfortable public parking right in front, on the street. The place has obviously been built with lots of love and taste, and the owners and staff are very warm, welcoming and helpful. From my balcony I had a lovely sea view. Next time I’ll stay longer.

    Good location. We only stayed here for our first night, after arriving at Cancun airport and before beginning our road trip. Easily reached by car from Cancun. Small hotel with a small swimming pool. Simple but suited to our needs for a good night's rest. Check-in was easy. We could park the car in the property. Walked to the beach for dinner and to a nearby bakery for breakfast.

    The hotel was very clean and comfortable and located right in the centre of Puerto Morelos. I walked everywhere. The staff were very polite and helpful. My room was a little loud, and I could hear outside noise. I also didn't get any hot water throughout my stay and missed not having a bedside table to put stuff at night. Not huge problems but worth noting.
