This was an excellent stay while seeing my new grandaughter! I was made most welcome by all the staff and the reception were very helpful. All staff were especially supportive as I have had a recent traumatic road accident. I shall be back as Lisbon is a long way from England to go baby-sitting! A wonderful stay, and I explored much of Lisbon too, now one of my favourite places.

My husband and I stayed in the Double Room with Sea View (room 301). The room was spacious and bright with a lovely view of the ocean. Property is in a prime location next to the beach and pedestrian street. Many shops and restaurants within walking distance as well as a grocery store. The staff was lovely and the included breakfast was varied and quite filling. The ladies kept all breakfast items refreshed and the room was spotless.

The ocean view room provided a lovely balcony from which to admire the water and to listen to the waves and the wind at night. Room was clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful, answering all our questions and helping us with scheduling the surf lessons. The panoramic restaurant provided not only gorgeous views at sunset, but also impeccable service and delicious food.

This was a very sweet place. We had a tiny room, but it opened onto a balcony. The shared bathroom (2 rooms) was fine. The other shared spaces (kitchen, including a refrigerator and very nice outdoor space) were lovely. Everything was very clean, tidy. Location was great for us. Close to the square and beach, we walked everywhere.

Excellent location and extra clean hotel, but the staff was very friendly and nice, especially the lady on the reception Silvia!!! I was for the Lisbon half marathon and i think is best logistic location if someone go the next year for the event 😉

    The place for surfing, sun and beach life. Several kilometers of gorgeous sandy beaches and nice waves, suitable also for the beginning surfers. All the necessary services are available. People are still friendly for tourists and most understand English or Spanish in addition to Portuguese. Lots of young people and families there, not just elderly.

    This is defintely a beach town.

    This is defintely a beach town. I was there in the "off season", although my visit spanned New Year's Eve and there were a lot of day-trippers. Not sure I'd enjoy the place as much as I did during peak season. I was lucky to find on-street parking close to my hostel. I would not recommend having a car here in the summer. One very pleasant surprise was the high quality of the food and service in the restaurants. Definitely not "tourist-trap".

    Villa Alexandra great place to stay.

    Villa Alexandra great place to stay. Had an amazing experience. Very amicable and superb hosts. Facilities are splendid. Feels like home. All sort of facilities were available at the facility.     There are many uncrowded beaches which are clean, water...

    There are many uncrowded beaches which are clean, water sports are an option. The area felt very safe. For people who want to visit Lisbon and its sights this location is a bit remote but if you want a beach style holiday the location is good.

    Very decent public beach.

    Very decent public beach. Its huge easy to find enough space to plot up with the family. The waves in the afternoon are great fun too. Food restaurants along the beach are fine and it is very clean. Feels safe too.

    This was an incredible property! It was at the end of a glorious month in Portugal..and the amenities were superb! While the weather did not allow for swimming at that time, the pool area and surrounding seating and green space was wonderful to enjoy with a glass of wine and snacks! The stables were a joy to visit and learn about the residents there.. While it is across the Tagus from Lisbon proper...it was a stunning night view and we couldn't have been happier.

    Hotel was great and catered for everything that I needed, great location 5 minutes from the beach front whilst only an uber away from Almada or Lisbon itself. Most impressed with the staff, everyone who I dealt with were so friendly and accommodating and will make sure you have everything you need for your stay. Breakfast was very nice with a good range of options depending on your mood, little advice though it can get a little busy so wake up early !!!

    Great apartment in a great location if you love the beach, super easy to do the check-in and helpful host. The apartment is equiped with everything you need, I have no complaints and highly recommed this place. Everything you need is at your doorstep from food to groceries and very close to Lisbon, also visit Arrabida not too far and it's beautiful.

    Proximity to the beach, restaurants and shops. Quite close to Lisbon and relatively cheap transport by Uber. The apartment is equipped with everything you need, so if you want, you can prepare your own meals. Very good contact with the host.
